- Whoa, another video only a week later! Here we have most the comp runs from final bout special stage central. This could have been a part of the last video but I decided to have this in a standard aspect ratio and fill normal peoples screens, sorry 21:9 fans. There's also no music to get in the way of your viewing pleasure, feel free to add your own or enjoy as it is.
If you're not familiar with final bout, it's a competition drift series with an emphasis on style, self expression and good natured vibes all around. They host special stage events across the united states as a build up to the final battle, the summit of final bout. Not exactly final as September 2nd and 3rd of this year will be the 6th iteration of this main event. You should make the journey to USAir motorsports in Shawano, Wisconsin for the experience.
This was filmed using the Sony FX30 and their 70-200mm F4 lens.

I absolutely love the feel of your videos. What frame rate are you filming in? It seems like 30 fps judging by how smooth it is. I've always been about 24 fps but your videos convince me otherwise!
It is 30 fps, you are correct.
30 fps really is the sweet spot IMHO, 25p (for us European PAL guys) is too little, 50p/60p for real life footage always feels too unnatural.
Only gotta wait for 4 more hours then i can die peacefully while watchin new eletor content

Love the Video man. You zoom in and out while you film, but your footage is so smooth, it looks like you are using a Stabilizer, especially on the off track footage. Do you use stabilizer while zooming with one hand at the same time? Or is this hand held with the internal lens stabilization?
I filmed this all hand held and manually zoomed on a traditional photography lens. Happy you enjoyed it!
