- After its closure for refurbrishment on June 30th/31st 2013, the then worn-down line has been upgraded with new trams, improved stops, better information, new electronical equipment and capacity upgrades, such as more dual track alone the line (single track sections still exist) for higher frequency and larger (single) trams than before. Despite the relatively loud noise made by the new trams, they are very quitet inside.

Did they really have to ruin the cozyness and atmosphere of the line in turn for more frequent (and SLOWER) trams?! Scandinavia has really been on the wrong end of things when it comes to this! They take quantity over quality!

Its an ABOVE GROUND SUBWAY, for fuck's sake. MASS TRANSIT FOR PEOPLE GOING TO AND FROM WORK. It's not a PASSENGER TRAIN FOR GOING CROSS-COUNTRY. You should be impressed the damn thing has CLOTH SEATS and ABREAST SEATING.

True. It's all about money these days. At least the exterior is decent.
I'm so disappointed that the rickety old tram is gone. I rode that during a 2011 visit to Stockholm and it was one of the high points of the visit. I love Stockholm rapid transit, but miss that bit of charm.
