    Nice work. I enjoyed that! You running the phaser BEFORE or AFTER the OCD?

    • @TheBedroomRocker1

      I usually run it after the overdrives. Back when I made the video I thought that sounded best. Maybe I'll try it again though

    Just got a phase 95 tonight. Only tried it for 30 minutes. Sounds good for funky rhythm. I’d avoid mooer like the plague personally. I had a Mod Factory Mk II that stopped working after two operations (wouldn’t switch on). Might have been unlucky but the quality seemed very poor.

      @TheBedroomRocker1  Před 5 lety

      Yes, it's a great sounding pedal. I indeed read many bad reviews about the Mod Factory before (I was considering getting one before I got the Phase 95). But I have a Mooer Ensemble King Chorus and the Electric Lady Flanger and they're both killer sounding with decent built quality.

      The Bedroom Rocker the Mod Factory should have been fine. Externally it doesn’t look much different than the MXR. The case looks solid. The sounds were actually decent and it was quite versatile. Initially I had trouble switching it off. Then I couldn’t get it to switch on either. So far the MXR has been a good replacement and I’m hoping that it’s more durable. Your playing was good btw!

      I'm wondering about the Mooer liquid phaser? Anyone try that. Seems kinda more versatile IMHO

    Great demo thanks!
    Off topic. I use my guitar strap with a tail end hanging like you. I run my cable through the bottom hole. Then if you step on it, it pulls the strap instead of yanking it from the guitar. Doesn’t scratch the guitar like the old method can.

      On stage I play wireless - no more problems at all.

    The Phase 45 is not the older brother of the Phase 90. It was released two years after the Phase 90.

    • @TheBedroomRocker1
      @TheBedroomRocker1  Před 3 lety

      You are right! As far as Wikipedia goes, they were both released in 1974, but the Phase 90 came first and the 45 was later released as a milder version. The Phase 100 came in 1975 as a programmable version. Thanks for the correction and sorry for the mistake

      Well, this is my hopefully reliable source from a true expert, Jim Dunlop, who's been associated with MXR for a very long time:
      lifestyle.jimdunlop.com/enter-the-next-phase-the-mxr-phase-95/
      "MXR set the standard for phase pedals with the release of the Phase 90 in 1972. That little orange box went on to become the sole iconic example of its effect category, and it has been used by the world’s greatest guitar players-such as Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, and Eddie Van Halen-to record some of the most iconic songs ever cut to vinyl."
      [.....]
      "A couple years after MXR released the Phase 90, the Phase 45 was born. In contrast to the Phase 90’s 4-stage phasing, the Phase 45 was designed with a mellower 2-stage circuit that is favored for its ability to easily blend into a band’s mix."

    I would say the phase 95 is a mini pedal format of the phase 100 would you agree?

    • @TheBedroomRocker1
      @TheBedroomRocker1  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for the comment, but that's not really the case. The Phase 100 has an additional control for the intensity. The Phase 95 is a mini pedal containing the following circuits: Phase 90, Phase 90 Script, Phase 45, Phase 45 script

    • @paulwatson9217
      @paulwatson9217 Před 2 lety

      @@TheBedroomRocker1 yes I agree you are correct but it’s the nearest thing too the Phase 100
      It’s the second most adjustable phaser in the MXR range and possibly why it’s known as the 95 because it sits between the 90 and the 100 with the added bonus of its size.
