Update, because I've been getting DM's about the Y-pipe. Fixed the rattling, got a new Y-pipe in already, narrowed the rattling to the resonator on my single exit, jacked it up and fixed it the good old fashioned JSR way by shoving a strip of rubber between where the resonator was hitting and now the exhaust is dialed.

So 03-06 has the DE motor. The 07-09 has the HR motor. The HR motor revs higher (hence the name high rev) has twin intakes and makes a little more power. Honestly for the price difference buy the DE just stay away from the uprev versions 05 06 i believe. The DE has far more after market support and is much cheaper and easier to work on because of the single intake. I had an 03 DE that i put a turbo kit on. That thing hauled ass. Wish i never sold it

That rattle is on every 350z with test pipes.. i had it and i got a isr y pipe and it went away completely idk if you still have that stock y pipe get rid of it. Its the restriction that is hissing

its your y pipe. i had the same issue. just get a 3 inch exhaust all the way. i went with a motordyne xyz pipe and it fixed it.

My frs ratted due to the name plate on the exhaust looked weld on still but the small welded tabs were cracked and it fell off and no rattle and I saw your test pipe had 2
