i dunno if you guys noticed this, but after hikaru plays Qd1 and starts premoving the rest of the game, his opponent realizes he's premoving and plays the super sneaky Rf3! but hikaru notices it just in time, and cancels the premoves. if he hadn't canceled them, he would have lost his queen!
Nah! Hikaru premoved in such way that none of his piece can be taken, notice that when the opponent played Rf3 hikaru had already premoved Rxa3 checking with rook so taking the queen was an illegal move for white because of the check. Hikaru got plenty of time to cancel his premove…
Those premoves by hikaru would have been blunder if the opponent also premoves Rook on the same rank cause queen would have been gone…
He didn’t cancel his premove. One of his moves couldn’t be made because they made a different move
@@Swadesh7 right, after his opponent played Rf3, hikaru's next premove was Rxa3+, forcing his opponent to play Kb2. but the premove after that was Qc3+! his opponent could have played Rxc3, and captured hikaru's queen! that's why hikaru had to cancel the premove at the last second.
@@PtylerBeats no, he really did cancel them. there were no illegal moves made. the sequence was 1.Qd1+ Ka2 2.Ra4+ Ba3 3.Qd3 Rf3 4.Rxa3+ Kb2, and that's when hikaru canceled the premoves, because his next premove was meant to be Qc3+, but he didn't expect the opponent's rook to be on f3. if he hadn't canceled, his opponent would have played Rxc3, capturing hikaru's queen.
How do you cancel a premove?
I always thought he was fast, then I saw him do puzzles. Man is he ever fast. By the time I go okay so that piece is attacked, I can check the king there, oh but I can get checked there, Hikaru sees the solution to the puzzle before I’ve even taken in and acknowledged the puzzle on my screen. Insane speed.

Yeah abit confusing but I think I got it here it goes.
Queen checks on the 1st rank forcing Ka2, the Ra4+, Ba3 (forced as Queen covers b3) Qd3 (preparing to take bishop), Rf3 (looking to take queen) Rxa3+ (seen as bishop vanish 😂) then from there, king runs away and Queen takes the rook.
Hoped that helped. The key thing to remember is that all of Hikaru's moves were forcing moves hence the ease of pre-moving without concern.

And then black must have premoved ba3 because it vanished so quickly lol that was mainly why I was confused I think because it just was *poof* gone without seeing it even move lol anyways thanks for putting up with my noob chess analysis and questions

Like normally the current move is highlighted in yellow but by the time the bishop was gone it look like queen was still on d3 which was before Rxa3 lol 🤦🏼♂️ still kinda confused but it get it now the rook had to block the check then queen moved d3 then room took bishop all in a literal split second.
