I neeeeeed to try the salmon dish!!!!! đ I grew up on salmon, seaweed and rice in Canada, just below Alaska đđœ itâs been almost 8 years since Iâve had salmon and it would just bring me back to my childhood, I can taste it already!

I've used grated tofu for making "crab" meat from one of your other videos, so genius to use it for the flakey texture of salmon!!
also in the interest of being cheap and lazy I recommend Jack Monroe's salad bag pesto recipe, perfect for using up the dregs of a bag of salad you bought earlier in the week with optimism you'd definitely eat it all...

The salmon burgers from Good Catch are really convincing imo if you can find them (if you have an air fryer they cook perfectly from frozen at 350 F for 10mins)

Hey Rose! Been watching for years, love your content! I actually threw something together today that was super easy and soooooo good....
Pad Thai noodles just covered in water...add kimchi with juice, a pack of ramen flavoring, vegan smoked sausage, garlic powder and soy sauce. Cook uncovered for like 7 minutes. When noodles are cooked and most of the water is evaporated add coconut milk, broccoli and lime juice...let it sit for 5 minutes covered. đ
Good ideas! Gonna try the tacos with Mexican seasonings; chipotle powder, cumin, chili powder, etc..đ

Having fallen in love with homemade seitan Iâd probably use it for the first recipe instead of tofu or tear the tofu apart into bigger pieces (It has a great texture then) BUT grating seems to be a genius technique for saucy dishes such as bolognese or chilli! Will definitely give this a go :D

I generally use soy curls for a chicken replacement!! And tofu, I just get it at a regular grocery store

None of the tofu that I have found would be solid or dry enough to grate like that. These look good, just need to find the right tofu for them. Make your mock tuna salad all the time.

Hey Rose, looks fab, can't wait to try the tunacado sandwich, if you get the chance check out " The Viet Vegan " on you tube, she has a recipe for a baked rice bowl with smoked tofu (I know how much you love smoked tofu), I made it last night and it is absolutely incredible for such simple ingredients! I love it when you veganise the latest viral tictoc recipes and I also love your casual approach to cooking, its very much how I do things in the kitchen and it always turns out great thank god!! The original recipe was always expensive the vegan one is cheaper where I live
Expensive in Canada, but where I live it's not that expensive at all. Bell peppers are locally grown, Lidl sells these wonderful bags of smaller avocados for only a little more than 2 euros and basil you can so easily grow yourself, which I always do. In Croatia this isn't expensive, but meat is. Especially chicken.
Shopping at a Farmers Market, veggies and fruit are not pricey đđ

But it can be different in different regions of the world. I know for example that ramen can be either vegan or not vegan in different countries despite being the same brand. Probably due to different rules and regulations.
