Ethan is so cool! 😎
Agreed
dude that's my name
You should create an Ethan AI to play against on your app lol
One got Beauty other got brain.
@@sahpdude he plays on lichess tho
"The problem is your time is going down"
Little dude is savage
Snot came out my nose 🤣
He's seen Anna play chess before! ;)
i thought that was an insult to her youth
@@tainlekid still a kid even if he is that smart he can’t be mean 😂
I love how he always move and Anna is so focused
That kid is absolutely insane, not only he completely overwhelmed her, he was a complete gentleman about it from start to finish.
exactly !!! this is exactly what I love harmonious energy, and just humbleness. Which is the best. Absolutely f*** people like that kid who Anna played some months ago in one of the usual places. The things he said it’s not hustling it’s being a complete asshole, as it’s absolutely not necessary.
I was so glad that at the end they played another game, which we will see soon.
Also I wish Anna could have reversed taking the bishop so that he could have played his line. But later it was cute and funny that he thought for a bit that he might have blundered. Even after Anna gave a check with her queen, he knew it was a bad move just didn’t right away know the best response.
I hope you could play him more !!!
Anna did queen A5 and that was a big misstake.
Lol, he did not overwhlem her. Anna used all her time (not the best in blitz) and then at the end anna is up a piece if she doesnt flag. He didnt execute the attack
@@cobeferraro3464 the eval bar was always on his side
And he was conversating, giving her tips, reacting to her blunders, reminding her her time was low. Did she just play a future world champ?
When an 8 years old kid tells you there´s only one variation that doesnt loose, it´s prbly time to resign...
😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
absolutely
Kid could be the next Sorcerer Supreme 👁🕑
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes that means he knows them all and know the only way out is, and he is 8 😮 wow
I love that he is so encouraging while simultaneously competing.
At nine children are not competitive, just playing. Imagine when he gets competitive ...
good-hearted kid
@@lws7394she played a different youngster not long ago he was very competitive and trash talked throughout the game kids are kids many of them emulate the grownups that are closest to them this young man was taught to have manners and be respectful that was obvious
@@michaelmassaro4375 that kid was just funny. His trash talking was not mean spirited at all. Everyone there, including Anna was having a good time.
@@lws7394 At nine children ARE competitive... What are you talking about? We aren't talking about 600 elo players :) Who has 1900 at their 9 years - are competitive
The sweet and honest way he talks is much worse than trash talking
Don't need to trash talk when you're that good.
they're a perfect pair, most wholesome chess ever
No Its not, at least thats shows he got RESPECT, teashtalkers have a LOT to learn from that
No Its not, at least thats a sign his parents have learned him MANNERS are respect för others. Trashtalkers has a LOT to learn from that.
when i was 8 the Pixar lamp scared me
What scared me was the THX logo at the beginning of movies and that scary increase of volume sound that would happen… I don’t even know how to explain it ahaha
It might also scare him. He is still a kid, despite being good at chess :)
😂😂😂
very respectful young man.
Hello 👋How are you doing today?
unsure of how to respond to that outside i hope you have a good day as they are very few and far between. @@David_Robert
Ethan: I saw 14 million possible variations
Anna : In how many did I win?
Ethan: one...
6:43 emotional damage (she was gonna shake hands😂😂)
😂
Lol😂
hahahha
Hahhahah😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Ethan is my new idol, i hope he never stops being this gentle!
😮😮😮
I love his "oof!"
That was my favourite.
not only has she developed confidence in going against several range of high rating players in tournament format but she also helping young new talent get exposure by upsetting higher rating chess players and is not afraid to show it. I'm sure the kid is going brag that he was able to get 1 off a WFM and make his parent proud that their kid has done such a good job in practicing and getting good at something he liked. Must be enjoyable to play with good personality like this
He'll be beating GMs in a year or two!
I’m sure his parents would not even be surprised they are probably use to his Brilliance already
@@thomasdalton1508 the competition will immensely increases after 2000 so I think 4-5 years is more accurate. He will probably reach FM in like 2 years and IM in 4 I think
@@godzillafirefox923 I didn't say he would be a GM in a year or two. I said he would be beating GMs in a year or two. If he becomes an FM, that would put him within 100 rating points of a lot of GMs, so it would be very surprising if he hasn't beaten several GMs before that.
@@thomasdalton1508 yeah I guess you are right! He will probably beat many weaker gms
The conversation with the young man was phenomenal.
This kid is actually so cool! He seems like a great person to study with
He is so kind and cute, Ethan please never change, You are a Prodigy but stay humble even in success. Two lovely person here 😊❤
Ethan: Did I just blunder
Anna: I spent a lot of time finding this move
Eval bar: 😈
Wow... 14 likes, that's the highest I've ever gotten.

1900 in two years is crazy for a nine year old
Being 9 is crazy for an 8 year old!
@@SidewaysStewie 😂😂
8
@@SidewaysStewie yeah, he warped time and is now nine
I am asian, but I am not smart. I am good at sport though, but failed most of my academics
He must have learnt chess for like 20 years in a past life or something lol that is impressive
The fact that he knew her entire game worth of moves after 2 moves is mindblowing to me.
1900 in 2 years is f*cking crazy. 1900 in 2 years at 8 years old is even more crazy.
less crazy, you learn more and more slowly as you age.
How's that more crazy, it would be crazy if it did 80 y.o. man
I'm 57 and have been playing chess my whole life and still suck...these kids make me feel like just quitting forever... Unbelievable.
😂😂😂😂
You should be playing for the health benefits. Not to be the best.
@@TheNameOfJesus odd comment, and don’t worry, I’m not trying to be the best…just would be nice to be better than terrible
Life is about coming back with a smile. Or dying with your boots on!
Do you enjoy playing?
Ethan Pang, FIDE 1878, number 10 among players born 2015 or later. And, amazingly, number three in his own country (behind Bodhana Sivanandan and Kushal Jakhria). That's a strong generation of English chess talent coming up.
"English"

Very well said @@sighfly2928
I don't care about his chess ranking or score. He's so adorable and tells it like it is while soft spoken
they're a perfect pair, most wholesome chess ever
Anna is so gracious to a stranger. You can see it in her remarks to the young player throughout the game. Ethan handles himself so nicely for a youngster.
A nice opponent and very kind at winning.
4:06 The look on that men’s face says it all😂
dude omg LMAO, so subtle
Wow he has a kind heart and is a brilliant chessplayer!
The nicest chess players in the world! I'm hoping to see much more of this lad in future.
He missed a couple of killer moves but it didn’t matter, his position was so good, it was impossible to lose.
Love this video - two people loving the game of chess. Looking forward to seeing Ethan play chess for many many years to come!
Hello 👋How are you doing today?
its so refreshing in todays world to see a bright smiling person , stay awesome miss anna, the world needs more like you and mom too !!
Distracting the opponent with questions... 🤔 Could have worked but time was missing.
Wasn't that so Cute?! Haha! "How's Math Class?!" What a fun Match!
Could've worked if he was 14...
An adorable video. Sort of knew how the game would end after you asked him his online rating 0:40 😄. Cracked me up seeing you stalling asking Ethan questions to delay the onslaught. Hope we see if you had better luck playing as white.
Let's go Anna! Thanks for getting me into chess
Hello 😊👍🏼
I love Anna! She is so sweet and positive with this young lad. It is absolutely a pleasure watching them play.😊❤
Hello 👋 How are you doing today?
“Only one variant,…
Everything else loses”
Haha,
That’s got to be so demoralizing to hear during the match!
Now there's a player that knows his theory. Absolutely amazing at that age.
Such a sweet interaction. Kid was hilarious, and Anna charming and really funny with her bubbly personality. And a good sport, as always.
A wife like Anna and a son like Ethan ❤️. Lifegoal
Hilarious. Ethan is awesome!!
Hope to see more of Ethan in Chess tournaments in the future! Smart little gentleman 👍
That is the cutest kid! So sweet and wanting to help you out!
He's adorable!
That was exciting to watch! Where is the second match?
I love these videos! The way ypu play and have fun with them shows you are a good person! Keep up the good work of teaching this game. I did it with all my boys, while I was cooking in the kitchen. Great memories! Now I struggle to beat my middle son! Lol
So, that was very cool to watch. Ethan, just wants to play chess. You could tell he just likes to play. I don't have a clue how to play chess, but I love watching you play and interact with others.
That kid is a great. You can see his passion for the game. 2400 on Lichess. The kid is awesome.
Ethan is amazing, more than the chess' skills I truly love his mindset. That must be so great to play against him.
What a pure love of chess that this wonderful child expresses.
"The problem is you're running out of time".......priceless!
The despairing laugh by Anna when he said 2400!!!! These games are so nice, so educational and so humbling. These young kids with AWESOME chess skills are astonishing. THANK YOU, Anna for bringing these to our screens.
Anna you need to play more Chess with Ethan. This post is my absolute favourite.
His candor about there only being one variation and everything else loses is hilarious.
It's got to be scary playing little chess geniuses like that! You're brave to share!
Anna, anyone playing against you can't help realizing what an amazing person and opponent you are as well as ambassador of the game. Chess Princess
What a cool little dude. He seems very nice
great, wonderful, such a talented boy, I love your vids, best regards from southern Germany
Youre so humble 🙏🏼
Bro won't be a trash talker like other kids , he's nice
Otroligt vacker och smart kvinna❤ Tack
Cool kid, so good!
Happy Birthday Anna
for the 30th!!!!!!🎼🎉
😊🎊💐👑🎁🎈🍰🌷🎶
“My rating is 2”
“…2000?”
“No. 2”
the cool thing u know how to treat kids u are so sweet with them hes smart little guy
so nice! and I like how you let him talk and wait for him to comment.
Ethan reaches 1900 in 2 years and im struggling to reach 1300 for the past few years 😅. What a talent this boy is.
Ethan calmly: blitz 2400. Anna smiling: ok, then good night ladies and gentlemen. Anna is always smiling, which is really nice, she has a fighting spirit too :)
oh, it's so funny, it was like playing to a machine that also talks
This puts a smile on my face! Thank you ! :))
Well, maybe I'm worse at chess than he is, but I can do a lot of other cool things. Like taxes or sitting in traffic or being bored and stressed at work. I bet he's pretty jealous of me now.
This kid will definitely be a great champion someday. I'm just sure about it with no proof more than his very accurate thinking and excel level at chess at his young age.
Love how Anna plays with the little ones. Anna ok with Humble pie 😊
Hi Anna, I watch a number of chess youtubers. Yours is by far the most pleasant and entertaining. It's not even close. Good stuff. Just keep being yourself.
6.44 he even left you hanging on the hand shake😂
Great kid.
Legends has it that she still haven't got her revenge.
“Only one variation. Everything else looses” lol
5:40 lil bro smelt mate15. He's definitely cracked 🤣
Why is it the queens task to fight for the king in chess? Shouldn't it be the king who protects his queen?
I hope he doesn't lose the enthusiasm and charm as he grows up.
You cannot allow that line of play to take hold. You must stop it early at your 3rd move with Rook to e5 or pawn to d4 or even Queen to h4 pinning his knight to the King.
A nice little kid
Thank you Anna and Ethan Fun
The boy seemed more concerned about Anna's time than Anna herself. 🤣
Time as always... The kid was amazing! Great personality as well! 👍
That boy is upcoming final boss of chess
Haha he even guided Anna through the opening 😂 Incredible
Thank you Anna i was enjoying laughting - usually i am quite - un moved = WELL DONE .
The problem is your time 💀
Two beautiful human being, love both your positive energy
ethan is too smart and too gentleman
Ethan calling Anna out over her time management was so funny.
He found mate at the same time stockfish did
Brilliant Anna!
Anna: That was a mistake right.
Ethan: *Nodstwice*
wow just wow, ethan is amazing! Did you get the plate of the spaceship that drop him on Earth?
Am guessing she lost the revenge match as well.dangerous kid
He had Anna in trouble right from the start.
Anna. You needed to ask him questions about life, on his clock, at the start of the match. Don’t wait.
