Ah yes, Zavok... the one villain who's been used one too many times.
I actually found him as a cool one-time villain in Lost World. Being a Zeti living in the Lost Hex, I don't know why they keep bringing him back in games where the Lost Hex isn't involved. It's kind of the same problem the Wisps have.
Also every time they bring him back he's usually paired up with Eggman, and he hated him in SLW.
@@roostergamerbubsy3d well in sonic forces he came back as a copy made by infinite so we won't count him as the real one, in sonic Idw comics he didn't work with eggman, he wanted to betray him and use the zombots instead of working with him.

To be fair, Zavok’s only been used 2 times in total past his debut. He’s actually a very recent villain. Chaos on the other hand has been used way more but nobody says he’s overused

6:22 the most curious thing is that zavok once became giant in the idw comics (which thanks to sonic frontiers are canon) this makes phase 2 of zavok make sense
Interestingly, zavok in Sonic forces is one of the few times you see sonic use melee combat on an opponent in a main series sonic game.
You see sonic perform punches and kicks at the very end of the fight.

bro imagine seeing all of sonic Idw comics but a sonic frontiers prolouge divergence and team sonic racing overdrive animation instead of a book or a whole game made with the CGI of sonic frontiers trailers, that would be amazing!!! (zavok phase 2 reminded me of Idw comics)

I think my only real complaint with this game is that we never got to fight Eggman. I mean, I guess we do by proxy of Sage influencing the robots, but it's so weird going through a game where we don't actually scramble some Eggmen.

@@juliangracia8360 I can picture the Egg Emperor in place of Knight. But that might be too obvious.
To be fair, not getting an Eggman boss fight was a nice change of pace in Frontiers since in past games, he was the main bad guy with new allies and stuff.

I know there’s a large swath of the fanbase that genuinely doesn’t like the zeti, but I think if their portrayal in the comics was translated into the games . . . they would be far less despised.
Personally, I think they should have done more with the Deadly Six in Lost World. (They had potential, they just weren’t properly tapped.)

Tower & Master Ninja both fit but Tower makes more sense towards Infinite's character & backstory.

I could see Ninja fitting with disappearing, but not sure how the cube effects could be incorporated, as I just remember Ninja doing the laser rarely. Also Infinite doesn't do that much close range stuff in Forces it's mostly lasers and cubes.

We need different enemies who aren't robots for a nice change of pace in The Sonic Series like Predator Earth Animals that try to eat you and attack you honestly we don't need the robots all the time it's like they're treated like they're the only enemies.
And we seen Earth Animals before in Sonic X so The Sonic Series in The Sonic Videogames having Earth Animals and Earth Animal Predators who try to attack you and eat you would like interesting to see happen especially with Shadow Sonic Silver Tails Amy Knuckles Cream Cheese and the others as the playable characters and we need the others as playable characters again permanently it's impossible for one main character to do all the work they almost die if they do.
