    In this video I take my 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S for a ride to one of my favorite scenic locations. All the mods I wanted (for now) are finally done so the only thing left to do was go for a ride. This video will give you a good idea on the sound of the CS Racing Exhaust (link to buy with 5% discount is below) through a variety of rpm's and speeds as I ride through scenic forests with curvy roads. I also talk about some of the pro's and con's of this amazing bike. Stay tuned for more riding videos to come!

    Great video,question, how is it cruising at around 30 35 mph do you get a lot of jerking from the in-line motor,, sometimes I do some slow cruising along the shore I want to make sure you can cruise at a low speed without it being jerky or anything like that other than that I demoed this bike at a Kawasaki demo day Road beautiful and was comfortable on the open road but just curious about cruising at a lower speed I don’t want to be shifting between second and third gears all the time while I’m cruising along the shore areas thanks in advance!!

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks you! Having the booster plug or power commander installed will reduce the low speed jerkiness. The stock bike is pretty jerky at low speeds. Mine has the booster plug and after market exhaust so low speed cruising at 30-40mph is comfortable. The bike does like to be in higher rpm overall but no major problems at low rpm.

    How does the atlas throttle lock work for you? I had it when I had my sports bike and it didn't work the greatest. Wondering if it works better for the vulcan

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 lety +1

      It works okay I haven't used it as much, I did feel like when I activate the lock and then if I go over bumps or something it kind of loosens the lock and then it starts decelerating or accelerating so it's not the tightest it doesn't hold as strong as it should. Haven't used it at real highway speeds for a longer duration yet so not really sure if it's that bad. Will do a review video on it soon!

    Did you buy the bike with some mods on it? I bought mine last year and it didn’t have anything extra. Didn’t know that was an option. I add a relay for phone charger, phone charger, delkevic exhaust, cafe windshield and some mirrors from Amazon I’m not a fan of. I see you have like a throttle lock of some sort, how do you like it?

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes I bought it used and it came with alot of mods from the previous owner including the cs racing exhaust, booster plug, relay, charging port, windshields, and some more mods that I removed. I added my own led headlight, fender delete taillight, airhawk seat cushion, and floorboards. I am looking for new mirrors. The throttle lock works pretty well it's just a mechanical lock. It does come slightly loose when hitting bumps but no big deal.

    do you ever feel like it's too loud (with baffle)?
    I can't decide what exhaust to get I what it to have deeper tone but not very loud I don't want to have issues with my neighbors

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 2 lety +1

      It is definitely not as loud as some other exhausts like danmoto and widow. However the neighbors will still hear it but it's not loud enough for complaints, just don't go crazy reving high on your block haha wait for more public roads for that. I watched tons of videos on other exhausts and am very happy with cs racing exhaust because it's the perfect loudness and has a deep sound compared to others. I run it without the baffle so with baffle would be even better for you. If you want the Cs racing exhaust I have then use my link to buy with 5% discount csracingusa.com/discount/KAMDORIAN

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 lety +1

      It's great so far, can ride for over an hour before it starts to get uncomfortable. Best thing to do is just make a pit stop and stand up for a minute or so and then continue riding on! It's definitely an improvement over stock seat and you can adjust air amount to make it even better but its probably not as good as the $500-1000 aftermarket seats.

    Any thoughts on Engine guard and Wind shield ?

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 lety +1

      I have seen many Vulcans with the engine guard bars, I personally don't like the bulky look of the engine guard bars so I haven't installed it. I have the cafe racer wind deflector (doesn't do anything for wind, more just a visual change) and I also have a puig bigger wind shield which I haven't installed yet. The wind can get annoying at higher speeds above 55-60mph but in this summer heat it feels good at time! I will probably test the wind shield at some point in the future.

    • @sathishrao7926

      @@Kamdorian I’m not a fan of Engine guard too.., but it has saved me and my bike when I dropped the bike a few times ( I’m owning a Vulcan since Jan 2019 )..
      Large windshield has added looks to my bike, but it deflects wind on my helmet which isn’t a pleasant experience at higher speeds

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 3 lety +1

      @@sathishrao7926 yes I'm sure the guards will save the bike I may try to find minimalist looking ones. That is my fear with windshield I always hear it makes wind on helmet worse but maybe it's due to mounting location and angle of the shield?

    Any issues with the exhaust burning a passenger?

    • @Kamdorian
      @Kamdorian  Před 2 lety

      No issues but have not had too many passengers. The output of the exhaust sits below the passenger foot peg so if they wearing open toe shoes they might feel some warmth. With riding boots and pants on they won't feel much at all.
