Picture this: I'm sitting at my desk, all motivated and ready to tackle this supposedly "simple" assignment. Little did I know what was in store for me! 🙈 From the get-go, it was like I'd been dropped into a maze with no map, and things took a wild turn real quick.
In this video, I'll take you on a journey through the hilarious missteps and moments of pure confusion as I try to decipher what the professor actually wanted. You know that feeling when you read the instructions, and your brain just goes, "Wait, what?!" Yeah, that was me, alright!
I tried to Google my way out of the mess, but the more I searched, the more puzzled I became. It was like I was trapped in a loop of misunderstood jargon and vague guidelines. 🌀 But you know me-I never back down from a challenge!
As I recount my epic struggle, you'll witness the hilarious attempts I made to piece things together. From attempting to decode cryptic clues to seeking advice from friends who were just as clueless as I was, I left no stone unturned in my quest to comprehend the seemingly indecipherable task.

When I was touring Rome we had a battleaxe of a tour guide, she literally stopped traffic to get to us. When she saw scammers (the ones giving out roses to people and get them to pay for them) she wielded her umbrella like a sword and yelled: "STOP!!" She then screamed at them in Italian, the looks of the scammers and the tour group was priceless. I love that lady.

Apparently they make out the rose, which is not real, is free and when a tourist takes one they'd be like: It's an overpriced amount. When they don't pay they all get aggressive. Apparently the tour guide was protective because this particular group of rose sellers had a fist fight with her previous group.

When I was on a coach trip in the UK, our tour guide told all of us that were heading to Europe. To use the Cross body strap on our handbag (purse), to prevent theft and to also wear our jacket/cardigans over the strap. We were also advised to watch out for and not give any money to the beggars on the street. Great and useful advice

In 2000, my husband sent his mother & I to Paris as chaperones for the French Class of his H.S. We were warned about pick-pocketers, especially in the subway. The husband of the French Teacher felt something going into his pocket. It was a couple of fingers. He hurriedly put his hand in his pocket & bent the fingers backwards. He heard a faint yelp. This was done as soon as the doors closed. He kept the fingers that way until next stop. As soon as the doors opened, he let go. He never turned around to see whoever’s fingers were throbbing get off, but he was hoping that taught that person a lesson😂. Recently, my 2nd mom needed an iPad cover, her old one was falling apart, so I went on Amazon, & there was a IPad Cover with different scenes of & the word “Paris” all over it. It brought tears to her eyes. She messaged me about a week later & said she loved it, because every time she picks it up, it brought back the memories of her & I at all of the main places to visit there. God Blessed me with 2 wonderful mothers, 1 that raised me & 1 that has treated me like her daughter even before my parents died 4 months apart in ‘05. 30+ yrs of marriage & not quite 35 yrs of being together later, I thank the good Lord for Blessing me with a wonderful 2nd family.
Once when I lived in Italy I was walking down the street chatting to my American friend in English and felt something on my backpack. I stopped to have a look and this man darted past us. I quickly yelled "Aspetti" (wait) and then he just stopped. He hadn't managed to get anything from me, but had my friends wallet, we just took it off him and he left.
It was very fortunate and odd that he just stopped when I told him to.

First video: My dad is an EMS responder, and he has had to cut people out of the baby swings at the neighborhood park once or twice. They can’t use the jaws of life because they are the JAWS of LIFE, those things are huge, they have to be big enough to cut through large pieces of metal/seatbelts/car doors/car exterior/etc. The responders in the video wouldn’t even be able to fit the tip of one blade in between the girl’s waist and the seat. Jaws of Life are essentially very big, very strong scissors that can cut through just about anything 😂 Bolt cutters, lubricant, and a few strategic pulls is definitely the most reasonable option 😂
Hi, I’m from Venice Italy. Unfortunately we still have many problems with pickpockets in all Italy. Monica which is the lady from tiktok screaming ‘attenzione pickpockets’ is doing her best so we can recognize these people and prevent these situations! She is the best!
I have to admit as a teenager I attempted to get in the baby swing and got stuck like that, had to have someone flip it upside down so I could slide myself out of it. Definitely learned my lesson not to mess with things that aren't meant for me!
Same when I was like 16. Luckily had a guy friend with me that was able to help lift me out...all while hysterically laughing of course. Even though he's the one that dared me to.

Too large and not usable for a swing debacle. My 17 year old cousin has a very model physique and she thought she could fit we had to yank her out she was stuck for 20 minutes but she was so scared we would have to call the fire department 🤣

I have a box filled with things that my friendly raven family has gifted me with over the last 6-7 years. Among the dozens of metal washers, small tools and machine parts, there's several small porcelain doll arms and legs that I think they found in the rubble of a neighbor's house that burned years ago. I was going to make wind chimes out of the arms and legs, but maybe I'll just carry the arms in my purse!
I rescued the patriarch of the raven family 8 years ago when he was rejected as a fledgling, probably because his beak had a small deformity. I turned him loose when he could fly, but he stayed because I feed him. He disappeared for a few days, but came back with a mate. They've had several broods over the years, so now I'm feeding about a dozen ravens!
Fascinating birds and really smart. When I first started finding their gifts, I thought I was losing my mind because I knew these objects didn't come from my property. They were left at my doorstep in the mornings. I looked online to see if anyone else has experienced this, and it turns out to be not that unusual! They never forget a face, and if you're lucky enough to have these birds like you, they will reward you.

I’m so glad I saw that swing incident. At 57 I was just made legally blind and everyday am trying to challenge myself to do something new. I have a out 5-10% vision left in one eye other eye has been removed. Was walking my little dog. And decided to go on the swings. Haven’t been on one since I was a kid.
Thank god both swings were being used one is like the kid one. They didn’t have those when I was little but I was so tempted to try as felt safer about my sight issues. I don’t know why I even thought that as there is no possible way even one leg would fit in. Clearly delou Lou !! Grateful someone was watching over me as those swings were being used whole time. Thank goodness.

Second story: I had a similar thing happen to me... Circa 1975, first date with this guy (and last), he took me to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. He didn't want to go on ANY rides, just walk around, and he didn't want to eat (I hadn't eaten all day). I was hot, tired, and starving! We FINALLY left and I had to beg him to stop at a McDonald's and I paid for my own burger and fries and drink. He claimed he didn't have enough money for anything other than the entrance fee but he had enough to RENT a car to take us there! I only had $5 on me. I had offered to take my car but I guess that would have made his willie fall off! Sadly, this was only the second worse date I'd ever had!

My niece got herself stuck in a baby swing, the most embarrassing thing for her was that my brother (her uncle) is a firefighter and was the one who needed to cut her out along with his coworkers. 😆 He stood there for a second just to let her soak in the embarrassment before cutting her lose. She was stuck all the way in the swing took them a long while to get her out. 😂

A few months to a year before my first trip to France with a friend, I saw a documentary about pickpockets and their tactics. So when we were surrounded by a bunch of them (speaking their language helped identify them too, tbh), I could get us out of there immediately

That whole thing about not eating before a date, I'm the complete opposite. I eat so that I'm not stuffed, but not hungry before the date. Then, if the place we're going to doesn't have food or no food I actually like, I'm good to go with just a small side of something. Cheap date, and I don't go hungry ;-) If we do go to a place where I like the food, I'll also just have something on the menu that's not so heavy to eat :) All set!
I'm the same way. I'm pretty shy, and don't like eating a lot in front of people, especially if it's a potential romantic partner. I like to order finger foods off the appetizer menu because they are typically less messy, and I can share it with my date if he's nice!
I don't like doing anything when I'm really hungry because that's all I can think about. The Snickers commercials are true, you're just not yourself when you're hungry!

Also, the woman dressed as a tin man - an excellent set up for a pick up line. "Excuse me, you look like you need a heart - can I give you mine?"
I helped a girl that got stuck like that on a kiddie swing. I got a chair, got her to stand on it, and then slowly wiggled the swing seat off. Simple as that. Did not destroy the swing set.
That sounds like the most effective and logical thing to do! It doesn't seem like these guys knew what to do. Why cut the swing right at the crotch, and use wire cutters (dykes) which are not the right tool?

The girl wasn't helpful at all, was she? They tried reversing her and using her own body-weight to free her, but oh my she couldn't take a little discomfort.
I think in her case it was too tight and they were worried about lost circulation.
@tanyastacy-haws993 Yes, I had the same situation. It was so tight and she was crying. But me and my wife slowly wiggled it off. It took some time and effort. Not only did it block circulation, but her thighs became swollen.

The swings thing is way more common than you think. I personally have gotten stuck in one of those baby swings. Thankfully, I was only about nine at the time and I was able to get myself out. Also, if you as a child older than a baby never stood in the middle of one of those child swings and just did weird shit why not that was literally like one of the best parts of my childhood besides getting stuck in the swing it wasn’t on purpose, though I fell and I got stuck (I did not have skinny legs)

I got stuck in a baby swing when I was 8 (I have thick thighs) and a bunch of random strangers had to get me out. One had the genius idea to find some lotion and lather up my ol’ tree trunks and slide me out. Absolutely traumatizing btw.
The way those rescuers went about cutting her out seemed strange. Instead of using metal snips that can cut that thick rubber easily, they used a pair of dykes (wire cutters)? Then, instead of cutting the side where most of the restraint was, they cut at her crotch, towards her crotch?
Sure looks like their first time! I could have gotten her out of there in minutes without cutting the swing. Probably would have had to gag her first, but I could do it!
I did this same stupid thing when I was about 25. I undid my pants, leaned forward and slipped out, falling on my face with my pants staying inside the swing. Thank goodness my underwear stayed on!

My 12 year old daughter got stuck in a baby swing just a couple of months ago. Her friend was freaking out so bad and even called the fire service....they refused to go! 😂😂😂 Once they calmed down and thought about the assignment at hand they got her out. I didn't hear about any of this until she got home and she told me in such a blase, matter of fact way 😂 little turd she is

When I was in Paris with my family and in the metro, two girls no older than maybe twelve asked my dad what time it was, and during the few seconds he looked at his watch, one girl had managed to open the zipper on his hip bag, and the other one tried to get into my backpack. My mom called them out. They had timed it perfectly: the train stopped at a station and the doors opened right when they either would have been able to grab something valuable or had gotten discovered, as in this case. They sneaked away onto the platform, this time failing to steal anything.

When I was a kid for some reason I never ate anything on the day of Thanksgiving. I loved the entire thing about the Thanksgiving meal and did not want to spoil it. With the smells and visiting while cooking, to be honest I was so hungry and hangry I would havd eaten someone's arm of. Lesson learned. There are always leftovers.
It's tradition though, haha, we do the same.

I've seen a pickpocket alert work once. I was on a train heading home from work. At one stop I noticed quite a big group of people on the platform. They got on my train and suddenly spread out over the entire train car. The train left the station, and as the conductor did the standard greeting, he also added that a group of notorious pickpockets had just gotten on the train and to watch our belongings. Next stop, said groupf of people gets off and goes back to hanging together on the platform.
