99% of anyone who asks why you're trying to catch a carp has never hooked into one. Not much more annoying than being crowded and obligated to talk when enjoying fishing/nature. Good videos!!!
Good stuff and it never fails someone will mess it up when you have a good thing going. Boats Kayaks and people crowding you. Then basically if you tell them your carp fishing its just as you say. Also when they run like that and you go to set the hook and nothing is there I believe that they are picking up your feeders instead of the hook. It happens to me alot. Thats why in my videos i always wait way longer than i should to set the hook.
I've got the same shirt! Also, on the subject of soured corn, I'd heard don't like sour corn, but, I caught 3 weeks ago my pb common at 23.5 lbs, so I'd say not all of them don't like it lol.

Honestly happened all the time, mostly when I'm walleye fishing, and its boats setting up directly in front of me 20 yards from shore... or some guy will come stand and jig within arms reach... it just amazes me.. I literally told a guy last year that it was good fishing for 20 miles in each direction.. but he didn't get it... just agreed with me and said no doubt

You know I have watched quite a few of your videos I have never used I think they call it a method lead I've never used a pack bait but after seeing your videos I think I'm going to try it in about a week or two thank you for the videos you do make they are very interesting God bless you and your family have a good day
The fishing experience is the same everywhere, down here kayaks are relatively rare so you can imagine everyone looking at me like an alien and asking questions when I'm kayak fihsing 😂 then the guys drinking beer or washing their cars at the boat ramp don't get me started on them. Nice carp! Worth the "experience" haha
@@OutsidewithTom yeah. Boat ramps here are not as busy as in the states, some of them are barely used to guys will take their cars, couple of buckets and a rag and wash their cars there 😂

so i’m gonna be honest today is the first day i’ve ever caught a common carp. and unfortunately it was snagged with a texas rigged 4/0 hook and senko. Either pure coincidence or bad luck but minus the guilt i’m hooked on the power of these fish. I have a new respect for these fish and hope to not have this happen again. as many people consider them invasive i treat fish as a sacred source. You’re the first account i have come across carp fishing and i hope to get into the real process of carp fishing. Originally i thought i caught the bass i’ve been hoping for, 5+ Lbs but when it came ashore i couldn’t misidentify the large scales and bottom feeding mouth. That being said it was only a 4lb carp and i was shocked with the power and endurance. it was released without vital harm and am humbled by the misfortunate situation. may be a dramatic comment but i’m a pure sport fisherman and like to treat fish as comfortable as possible. I appreciate any information it would take to become a more informed carp fisherman.
and if it even matters regardless of the final outcome it was a 6’8 St croix mojo bass spinning rod medium power extra fast action with a diawa fuego 4000 with 10lb Vanish Flouro. so obviously not a carp set up.
How long do you boil the feed corn for? I’ve been using fake corn and sweet corn as hook bait but sweet corn is to soft and fake corn does the job but I feel it under performs against real hook baits.
Nothing more annoying than others coming near you when the water is pretty much free. I call those the talkers, seen another angler so spot down near you cause they want to yap your ear off while they fish lol
