    You been using the bag/quilt a while? They look nice- need something for big wide shoulders and the BA bags work- but are heavy

      I switched to it this year, have spent about 30 nights in it this hunting season. Really like it. FF makes a wide version which my brother has. He's a big guy and has really enjoyed the extra room.

    What is the rifle and caliber you taking on the hunt

      It wasn't my hunt, I was just joining to help so I didn't take a rifle. If I was though, it would be my Weatherby Mark V 270Wby Mag that I shoot for pretty much everything. Thanks for watching!

    What brand was the dyneema pack cover?

    • @toddharney
      @toddharney  Před měsícem

      Mountain Laurel Designs. The Dyneema cover has held up surprisingly well for 3 sheep hunts and various other lower 48 adventurers. I think I’ll switch back to sil-nylon this season though. Dyneema is loud in the wind and brush as a pack cover, and it’s pretty prone to puncture holes and abrasion.

    What brand roll top bags are those to hold your food?

      Those are made by Mountain Laurel Designs. Really good stuff, still holding strong and waterproof after lots of heavy use.
