I don’t bother watching the press conferences anymore, I much prefer to listen to your summary of it. I just feel bad that you have to sit through it, listening to less than challenging questions, and Howe giving ambiguous answers.

Spot on Paul….no one took him on about tactics, team selection or timing of subs. Those journalists are only in those press conferences to gorge on the refreshments. Totally useless low level of questioning. All yes men! Louise is the only one who ever asks an insightful question but I don’t think she was there this time?

Karius was never given the opportunity to replace the injured Pope starting to think now he is a better keeper than Dubz who cost us countless games, but hey EH has his favourites you have to give him that. You have to wonder about EH and Ashworth's relationship and who wanted what players and what made him jump ship? The vetoed sale of Tripps and Wilson in January? Not buying Maddison? Buying Hall? And whoever else?

I have a theory as to why challenging questions are not asked in press conferences, It's all about having a good working relationship. I remember Fergie banning journalist for asking tough questions.

I think Eddie has needs to learn more from his mistakes for next season but you got realise he was mislead with sandro tonali betting problem this has got to be the blame the director of football lack of honestly. Paul, Eddie has said that he wants to bring back the players who have had long term injuries gradually.Can you imagine the reaction if the likes of Joelinton went straight back into the starting eleven and then went down with a recurrence of the same injury ?
Ramsdale may well be speculation but if we buy him it's as no.1. He was treated badly at Arsenal & he has every right to be a bit bitter. When he was ousted, he was as good as any keeper in the premiership & very close to replacing what's-his-name as England no 1. He then had the humiliation of the whole Arteta "I have two number one's" which was total bollocks & sounded like he was just too gutless to tell Ramsdale the truth. If the transfer talk is cobblers then fair enough but Ramsdale is a class act in my opinion & if he leaves Arsenal then he'll go to a top team. If he was a toon target to replace Pope then I'd be sad but the world wouldn't end for me.

Do you really think eddie would leave big joe on the bench if he is 100% née chance would he. Also Anderson has done well until Wednesday so he didn't deserve to be dropped.
I don't see why Ramsdale, currently number 2 at Arsenal, would come to us as number two. So he would either come having been told he will start as number one or not at all (the latter is more likely, as replacing Pope is hardly a priority).

I think Wilson will definitely be at Newcastle. Who would buy him when he is injured 50% of the time. No-one will buy him. He has another year on his contract so will be there in my opinion.

The thought of selling Isak to Arsenal to get Ramsdale in, that sends a shiver down my spine. I'd certainly lose faith in Eddie if that was the case, and all credibility he had would evaporate with me imo.
If Eddie starts next season making questionable team slections and leaving it till the 80th minute to make changes on the pitch. I don't think he'll last the season out.

I don't think we are going for Ramsdale, I think the media just add 2+2 =22, will throw all players at us in the next 3 months, they make it all up. Depends what ramsdale costs. he's not a lot different to pope in my opinion. Not enough of an upgrade to be more than 25 million to me.
We shouldnt read too much about how Eddie rates the performance during a presser, he isnt gonna give a big in to the players during a press conference is he?
This could be Eddie's last chance, I want him to stay but if he can't play his best players for the last game when we really need them it may be time to go,he would be taking a huge risk playing players when they haven't been performing
I don’t understand where the progress has been? I’ve no issue with it being slow but to pretend there’s been progress when there hasn’t is odd..
Also, Howe is partially at fault for the injuries. People keep separating Howe’s responsibility in the unhurt crisis. Then saying ‘we’d have finished top 4 without the injuries’
I watched those goals again without commentary and putting aside the defenders poor efforts, Dubs was a minute behind the ball...absolutely slow as hell.
The press conferences are difficult to watch. Howe won’t be able to change the small club mentality and he knows he can’t.
Re Hall - let’s not forget the time he was ‘held back’ Howe was playing a CB with an ACL and a CB at LB who was getting roasted. Not once, twice - for about 10 games! Haemorrhaging goals!! So it doesn’t stand up if your talented young FB makes the occasional mistake when you’re conceding 3 or 4 goals per game!!!
Ramsdale about the same as Pope, maybe pope a bit better - can only think age and premier league experience is coming into it 🤷♀️ agree at about Trafford. Maybe Eddie thinks we need some big personalities (bit cocky and shithousery) about - ramsdale comes across as that I guess

I personally would have liked to see big Joe and pope to start, but Eddie can’t win with half of yous.. wasn’t that long back yous had ago at him for bringing players back to quick after injuries. Wouldn’t be that if he had played them and they got injured and out for another 6 months.
If we blow 40-60mil on Ramsdale, it will be the beginning of the end for EH, that money would be better spent in other positions. Reason he lost his place at Arsenal was he makes too many errors.
So many errors that they were challenging for the title and came second! The only reason they dropped off was injury to their star defender Saliba!!! Proves the point of having a solid, stable defence. Newcastle have not had that for months now...
I honestly believe Wilson is injured and Eddie is covering his back! Get him out this summer and get 2 new ST in!

I don’t think Eddie will win us the Premier League. He keeps bottling the big games - Carabao Cup final, quarterfinal with Chelsea, bottled 3rd place last season, bottled 6th place… he’s been coaching for 16 years, how long does he need to learn.

One person's opinion will never get anyone to change a thing. You saying it would be and improvement is your opinion. Lots of us appreciate the effort Paul and Susan put into this channel. It's unique and gives this channel character imo.
The analysis paralysis of howes interviews is ridiculous. Eddie clearly gives these zero credence and wants to keep his cards close to his chest.
