999 affordable. I see why the last company didn’t do so well 😇 . Nice idea I hope it does well. Connectors sound good.

I mean that would be neat if you already have the latest iPhone "PRO", note that the Pro and non-Pro have different USB speed and stability. But I think currently the only thing supporting Ninja Phone's much higher price compared to Accsoon's SeeMo is the much higher bitrate and ProRes codec. But seriously, it should be combined with so much more, timecode jamming, SDI metadata and control protocol support, reel name and file name syncing etc. to really make it there. But excuse me, social media sharing for influencers is not the way to do this, not from Atomos. If I just need to share some clips on social media platforms, I'm okay with 20mbps on SeeMo, those social media platforms will trash the image quality anyway.

Can you Atomos guys focus on making screens? Don’t just try to harvest users’ wallets by selling these low thing with much money you are not good at.

So Atomos wants $999 for product that I most likely won’t be able to use if Apple ever changes the form factor of their phones? I’m not one of these people who upgrades phones just to have the latest and greatest but let’s just say I lost my phone two years from now and the only phone available is one with a new form factor, do I just buy a new $999 product from Atomos? I remember when I first bought into the Atomos ecosystem, I thought they were going to really keep up with releasing innovative products but to me it just seems they keep rehashing the same products with smaller differences designed to make Atomos more money and no value to the customer. The company is still using SATA for recording media when M.2 SSD’s / CF Express A/B cards exist. No HDMI 2.1, No built in time generator, no innovation whatsoever but they did add cloud recording which adds a fee and they’re making rope lights because Aputure/Nanlite and Arri don’t exist, right. Atomos has lost the plot!

do you mean time code for Atomos recorder? I don't think it's useful. due to the video comes from camera, there is some delay and it is not the same with different camera.

@@CC-kl1nv Yes, time generator = time code generator. Time code is useful in a lot of workflows. I personally like having time code and my workflow as it allows me to be a one-man band and do multicam shots and not have to perform a lot of tedious work to sync up clips in post. The reason I brought that specific point up is that one of Atomos’ partners years ago gave an interview where they said that originally Atomos had plans to incorporate a time code generator into the Shogun 7 inch recorder that never came to fruition. I hope black magic will provide some upgrades to their video assist monitor so that I can put all of my Atomos stuff on eBay and get rid of it!
