Flying Long Range FPV up a Hidden Waterfall

- Tucked in a valley with two mountain sides crossing in front of it, this waterfall is hidden from view throughout the entire valley. Except for this one spot that just barely gets me line of sight to this beautiful and rarely seen waterfall. The sunny weather and snowy mountain tops had me setup for some perfect long range FPV flying conditions.

спасибо, Фалкон. Ты как всегда невероятен!
It's pretty how amazing how from far away it looks like a tiny little sliver of mountain, but when you're up there it's a gigantic playground !
Ya this one especially has that feel to it, back at the home point you can only see about 20% of what's actually up there.
Absolutely stunning, dude! Truly amazing flight and footage! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks so much! You too! 👋
Wow i liked this, such a nice line into the waterfall! So smooth and low, setting he bar dude great stuff! Going back for that super low pass on the waterfalls was totally worth it. It's so tight getting into there.
Thank you, Falcon. You're incredible as always!
But you need to work with color correction, your areas don't blink very nicely.
I'm really impressed with the skill and confidence you are flying these long range flights, and the footage are stunning! I seldom watch youtube videos in fullscreen on my computer, but your videos always deserve full screen.
Thanks a lot!
World Class as always. Thanks for the ride. Happy flying amigo. 🫡 🍻
Glad you enjoyed it
Any more flying with the Bee35?
Oh my! This is gorgeous sir!
Thanks buddy. Cheers!
beautiful
Wow what a rip !! Thanks for the ride !!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You for sure have the flight line of this flight figured out. Such a narrow window for a clean direct line of sight.
Ya you can just barely see the waterfall from the home point. It took a few flights out there before I started getting comfortable with it.
@@FalconRadFPV I bet. Nice spot.
As always, world class footage😊
Thank you!
Amazing! as always, beautiful place nice flight!
Thanks a lot!
Fantastic video, as always! Thanks so much!
Thanks!
Fantastic flight 🤘
Super awesome brother!! Jealous of your spots! haha Always look forward to your videos!!
Thanks for the comment!
Awesome flight and location thanks for taking us all for the ride!
You bet
Love it!
Nice video!! Stunning landscapes! Can I ask you for advice on an antenna for the VTX as an alternative to the TrueRC that you recommend? (I'm using a 15cm iflight albatros v1)
oldguyFPV; Thank you!
Top notch. Best drone videos ever on the whole world wide wtf. Nothing comes close. Thanks for putting these gems together.
fantastic journey!
Thanks a lot!
Conrad, this is simply another master piece of drone footage, gigantic impressions you give us from this fantastic snowy landscape! Take care, many greetings from the Swiss Alps, Andy
Many thanks!
nice!!
Gorgeous spot man
Thanks 👍
awesome flight!!
Thanks! 👍
Hey buddy, you're the bomb at long-range shots! Every video you drop teaches me something new. Thanks a bunch, living legend!
Thanks very much!
I love your videos I long to be able to fly that far, may I ask how far you go out on your mountain runs
Thank you, the mountains I usually fly are about 5 or 6km out to the peak.
Absolutely Amazing! Brilliant
🤘
Great footage, in this digital world of Fpv, why choose analogue for long range? Is the analogue immune to breakup or else?
Please let me know your reasons
To start, I tend to fly very close to the landscape, when doing so the risk of losing video is much higher. I'm really used to the way analog breaks up and comes back right away when you get past an obstacle. The way DJI freezes and drops frames it just really throw's me off. I would much rather see a faint outline of the landscape with fuzz all over it (as analog often does during bad break up) in stead of an old image from 1/2 a second ago. Why do I care so much about 1/2 a second? At 100kph for 1/2 second the drone will travel 43 feet, plenty of time to crash into all kinds of stuff. For those that are not pushing proximity and keep some height above the terrain none of this would really matter.
That said, I've been told that DJI has fixed the long video loss issue with the newer goggles and 03 units. In usual DJI style they didn't bother doing any firmware updates to fix it on any of the older gear. It still freezes though, that's just part of the design of the video system.
As well I have a couple of friends that are pretty hard core about long range and they both fly DJI, it doesn't seem to bother them as much as me, but they both started flying DJI long before I did.
@@FalconRadFPV Big thanks for your explanation, this surely add my knowledge about Fpv, especially in long range, your videos inspire me to build long range quad, and i confused to choose digital or analogue for it. Have a great day and happy flying 🔥
Fucking sick dude
Thanks buddy!
Is there a way to get your frames in Europe?
Unfortunately, shipping from Canada / USA is extremely expensive so that a frame costs me 200$.
For me it's $20 to the UK for 5" frames, how much is it for you? I actually think CNCdrones shipping costs are totally reasonable. They can even do fast shipping for more if you want
@@earthsgrip I pay another 30% in customs duties etc. on top of the basic price of the frame plus shipping costs.
Have you looked at the various European resellers listed on the AOS-RC website? If they don't directly list the frame you may be able to special order it from one of those shops.
@@CDRaff Yes frames like the AOS 7 is not a problem, but I am interested in the Falcon RPM.
@@explorerfan Yeah a frame designed by a guy who flies long range and shows proven great quality video from it is the way to go.
That was, imo, the coolest flight I've seen you do. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you!
Glad to hear that!
are you even fucking doing "surround" sound effect? you level of editing is out of the sky
Thanks for the comment! I used three separate audio tracks for the water and individually set the sound on each of them to pan left/right in coordination with the proximity of the water. It's more convincing than working with a single track for the water sound.
Wonderful footage like always 🤩🫶. Did you use a ND64 at the summit when you flew into the sunlight ?
This was with the hero 11 mini (not recommended!) which has a more sensitive sensor than past cameras, so anytime I'm in full sunlight with no clouds I'll use the camera butter nd 64 (that's for 30 fps at 1/120 shutter)
What is the max filght time on this quadcopter
