- On Sunday July 26th a flight including 34 aircraft arrive at Oshkosh WI. Meet the pilots and see what it's like flying in the cockpit of a Vans RV.
Flight lead for this flight was Stu "Falcon" McCurdy. Time over target was set at 13:10 from the organizers of EAA and after the aircraft all launched from the same airport 140 miles away made it in mere seconds of the targeted time.
The elite RV formation Pilots flew from all parts of the country to participate.
The amount of effort and planning that went in to this, to pull it off, flawlessly... Great to be an American where excellence is appreciated. Superb job by all patrons. I'm an RV fan, have RV intials, and, you can call me Van, too!
This is what dreams are made of!
Wow that was impressive for first timers, eat your heart out Blue Angels!
Well, that was freaking awesome!!!!!
This was the last time I was at Oshkosh and I remember this fly over specifically! Currently a student pilot with actions in place to purchase an RV-7 kit next year! Love this video.
Just beautiful. Thx for posting.
Brought a real smile to my face. Thanks so much for sharing!
Really awesome the formation flying and tribute. This shows what can happen when everyone thinks as a team.
Incredible flying, incredible video!

Damn impressive flyby in Diamond!!
I guess I am kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Robert Kamari Lately I have been using Flixzone. You can find it on google =)
Great formation flying
Very cool, well done!
A "who's who" of RV greats right here.
It would have been a lot nicer if the music was not so loud. Some cases louder than the people talking. Why do people set the music so loud?
Just way too cool!
Just came across this today. Such an emotional shot with all the aircraft in formation with smoke on coming across mid-field. I’m not sure why, but maybe it’s the understanding of what you all went thru to make that happen, great work!!
Outstanding!
Very well done! the flying and the Video, loved it. :)
Callsign COUGAR! Love it! Go girl!
Good to see Steve Richmond ( Lizard ) turn the volume down or better yet off so we can here what's being said as well as the engines ....
Superb job everybody!
Bulldog is a perfect fit for that pilot!
4:35 "my name is Axel, call sign _ASSCLOWN_."

I want one of the shirts!!!
Im your 200th sub!
chingo d kbrones, good job..
Got to see this from the ground at my first Air Venture. Beautiful video.
If you flew in the military you will "earn"a call sign and most of the time it's your f#*k that you earn it. Once given accept it. Oh by the way mine was "Stinky" courtesy of puking on a training flight and I was the passenger. God those were the days!
It would be a shame if a C172 came flying among those low-wings lol
call sign good grief
Am I the only one who thinks that the guy at 1:35 looks like Mike row from dirty jobs
We down under envy you Yanks, GA here is discouraged by our regulator hence it's a reducing pastime due cost as well as many other factors like most people hate light planes & don't want them or their rich owners anywhere near them!:-(
Move here. Plenty of room for Aussies, you fit right in. Try Texas, you'll love it.
