@@dredfxcustompaintwhat about all the settings you can do with the back piece ? I have seen really anything explaining that. I just got mine and there isn't a good explanation on how to set it up. Mine wasn't screwed in enough to have any effect out of the box. So that made me question what is the initial set point.

It feels smoother than the original the only thing will be the trigger for people if you sit more to the front you won't like it

Thanks for this review, I'd been pondering the differences. I couldn't live with the lip/slope on the trigger and my Infinity CRP, Evolution CRP (with tweaks) and Infinity Chameleon are all great as they are (with minor tweaks). I tweak the spring pressure too and I've yet to add the seal hack to the Chameleon. They're great ABs from the box though. Some of the new distance/sketch caps etc might be interesting to experiment with, for painting models🤔🤔

I have four nice airbrush’s. I started out with a cheap harbor freight and a cheap Chinese knock off(master airbrush). My first brush,a Iwata Hp-Cs is leaps and bounds better over these, then I got the Bittydesign (Caravaggio), my thoughts are, these two brush’s will out last me and I’m set and never need another brush. My next brush a Creos PS-770 for fine detail. I’m on my last brush,a Harder & Steenbeck (GIRALDEZ), whooooo weeeee! 👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼. I’m done with airbrush’s,I’m covered in all needle sizes. I use my airbrush’s for plastic models. My go-to brush right now is the H&S, I use it to primer,and paint. I shoot primer,pre thinned airbrush paint,and pre thinned metallic paint’s through the Giraldez, if any of the paints don’t shoot I go to the Bittydesign for the bigger needle,I can use the H&S with the bigger needle,but don’t want to take the time to change over. I have the H&S air valve installed, and feel the Giraldez is chucking whatever I’m putting through it with just a little pull back of the trigger. My hands are big and get cramped, but other times my hand is fine with the Giraldez, maybe because the brush is small or that I’m a beginner? That all being said,if i were to get another brush,I’d go with the H&S because of what the Giraldez is doing for me. Love your reviews 🍺🍺

I have one of these giraldez brushes but my trigger seems to behave a little strangely. Everything is wonderfully machined, tight and locked in but when the trigger is pulled back as far as it can go, it actually seems to lift off the air plunger so it actually stops/slows the air flow. My old ultra doesn't have this problem so i'm wondering if there's a flaw with mine.
may be my one seems ok 👍 on the trigger 🤔
@dredfxcustompaint I ended up contacting h&s who sent me a new recently redesigned trigger. This seems to have mostly fixed the problem

Yes it's exactly the same as an infinity I will do another demo on this and change up some bits on it

Can you help me ps with Giraldez one? I bought one, and used it first time this week. Problem is the trigger. It is not going down (to flow air) as smooth as my infinity one. It's actually goes down in jumps sort of speaking. The way you use it is amazing, with mine is a lotery - once it will be small amount of air, once it will be full blast... I've opened it, clean it, tried diferent needle and diferent air presure, but it is still the same...
Sounds like you have a sticky air valve try some iwata super lube take the trigger out and put a drop on top of the valve inside the body
Then put the trigger back in and press it and work the lube in

Yes both infinitys have the same font end
Will the Giraldez internals fit in the infinity

I don’t know. I have bad vides about this brand. First they make a great airbrush with a less than ideal trigger.
Only to later address the problem on an unjustifiable more expensive model.
H&S are great brushes that last as I have found out over the years my infinity airbrush is outstanding with the mods that I have done to it
The Giraldez infinity is like the old one but has some very nice tweaks to it which make it different I think it all goes down to personal preference
