I remember when I first played this mission. Seeing the Gharials and the 'Cyborg Prototype' (too much Spy Plane) was great, but my favorite moment was when I spotted the first Heavy Troopers. The Foehn Revolt (the 3 subfactions) is my favorite faction of the mod, both for the lore and the units, and that mission is the moment it begins being a reality. One of my favorite missions of the campaign for now.
They could have at least disguised as Yuri. And be like "Aww, you were attacked by yuri? Btw, what were you doing there?" I guess subtlely is lost on you if you are russian.

I don't get why Russia and the Latin Confederation don't just demand China share their technology and give them most of their Cyborgs? The Soviets would still lose Act 2 but they would still be much stronger. So would Foehn as they also would have more Cyborgs and then assimilate the Soviet Remnants in Act 3 Having Morales alive and upgraded into a Cyborg would greatly help Foehn
@Brennan Lu This is after China lost and agreed to a peace treaty Another alternate route is the Allies and Soviets stop fighting each other between Act 1 and Act 2 Tanya is in Washington DC at the behest of the Soviet Commander. The SC's Army and American Resistance share anti-mind control tech forcing Epsilon to send the bulk of their own forces in Mission 13. Siegfried rescues Tanya and the American Resistance (and a few Soviet soldiers) while Reznov and Krukov rescue the Soviet Commander and his forces. When the Soviets in Italy are freed by mine control by a mysterious fourth force they join the Allies Later missions are much easier as the Allies and Soviets have access to each other's tech. Latin Confederation shares their cloning tech so the Allies can make more troops Another alternative is having the Soviet Commander and his Russian forces in America defect to the Allies while in Paris. Allies have cloning and cyborg tech allowing them to push back the Soviets. China deserts the Soviets much earlier and joins the Allies forcing Epsilon to overthrow Romanov much earlier Scorpion Cell stays out of the war. Allies end the war. Yunru overthrows the Chinese government

Why would russia attack china could russia just tell China that its a bad to make a cyborg well yeah we already know who is the cyborg its volkov and the cybord commando and hes cybord guards i dont know about the foehin if they are half human half robot there is alot to learn
China used Russian technology (they captured Volkov) to make an army of their own, without Russia's permission. They want to use it to fight Yuri, but once that is over, the Chinese will surely make their way through Russia and destroy them,using the stolen tech and declare themselves the leaders of the world. Obviously Russia won't allow that, so they want to destroy or capture this advanced tech of the Chinese. This is the current situation, there are still missions to do, and once we complete them, the story will be clear

I really love how buffed are the given units in this mission. Also the weather changing is a nice touch.

It's kind of strange that they don't disguise themselves in this mission but they pretend to be mind-controlled in the following one.
