I see a lot of Indians in Guyana.. What's the history behind it?
Well after the Africans ran away and got freedom from slavery by the Europeans and the Portuguese wasn’t enough help ( I believe) Indians had come to Guyana to help with plantation on the Whitby and the Hesperus ships. Tho they were treated way worse than the Africans getting beat and some god awful punishments which is just too graphic sooo.. I can’t fully remember if Britain or the Indians did something about it but then I believe they were able to get there freedom and well as more came they well settled in and alot of their culture is now in Guyana. I suppose bc India has a wide population that’s why there is quite a lot and 1964 was a whole different story I won’t talk about
Where it is??
the naked boy is offending me because people are going to laugh and guyanese are going to get mad and i am guyanese
I don’t see how people are going to make fun of a naked baby.
Those were the good old days, under the British rule all Guyana and Guyanese were satisfied.
stampy nose there is nothing to be offensive about and nothing for anyone to laugh you about. Those were consider the good old days for the older people and experience living in it. I myself grew up with fetching water from the stand pipe until water was in everyone's yard and then in the house. Look at the child in the bucket as beautiful memories. Thanks to the person for posting the video
This is archive footage that captures an important era of human history. If you want to be entertained go to Tiktok or Instagram. This is not entertainment it's an incredibly rare look into the history of India and Guyana. People like you that want to sensor history are quite dangerous.
