    Reel 3 shows Bridgetown Barbados starting at minute 16. Sugar cane is the crop. The windmill is a working sugar factory.

    In 1936 it was British Guiana not British Guyana. My folks worked there in the 1940's and 50's.

    Life under the British ment u will always be a slave, never be president and forever remained poor....yes master!
    Dr. Jagan gave Guyanese hope to be free....it cost him his premairship of Guyana.
    Dr. Jagan never lost an election but was never declared winner. Where was Democracy then???????

      Roberts lopez But you know what Robert life was better.The little money you had could buy things you need.Not extravagance but there was everything only you have to work and get your money to buy what you need. So nice to see old pictures.Never understood how people could balance baskets on their heads without touching them

      Roberts lopez He was maligned by the British ,Burnham and D'aguiar .He was treated unfairly but god knows best he was the most honest and illustrious politician in Guyana and he was not racial
