There are policies in place designed to target people like this shooter, unfortunately it is very difficult to enforce and at times comes very close to authoritarian and civil rights violations without due process. It's a fine line.

My question is, If this behavior had been noted, including threatening and fighting classmates, known of posts of animal torture and guns on social media, WHY, WHYYYY?? had this not been reported?? flagged?? Etc!??.... it's not about finding blame or deflect responsibility, my point is it should be up to all of us, as a community since sooner or later it affects us all, to note the flags. Our failure as a society is we've become desensitized, we don't act, react, empathize, or even seek help before tragedies such as this one strike. If it's not affecting us directly we dont see it as OUR problem. We have to open our hearts and not turn our eyes when we see/hear/feel something is off...
May God grant the families, friends, and the whole community peace and healing. My prayers are with you🙏😞

No matter how many people may disagree with me, we just need better gun laws. Some people believe arming teachers is a good idea, but this would just be another responsibility put on the teachers. What happens if a student gets a hold on the teacher’s firearm. Who will be held accountable for that? Others believe locking up schools is the answer, but many schools are already closed campuses. Many schools have been gated and locked ever since Sandy Hook. Look how well that has worked. And then some people think homeschooling is the key. Well not everyone has enough money stay home and teach their children or pay a private teacher. That is why public schools exist. An equal right to education. At least change the age limit to 21, or have a parent/guardian co-sign when a teen is making a purchase. That way, if anything happens, that person will take responsibility for anything their child chose to do. They knew there were risks for purchasing a gun for their kid.

In my country Mexico to own weapons, you must have a permit from the Mexican army, who has the power to grant it or not, they do psychological tests, and check criminal records, and work environment in which you work.
Weapons are only used for legitimate defense at home, high-powered weapons are for the exclusive use of the army.
The United States should regulate the sale of weapons, through strict permits.
Unfortunately, the United States sells high-powered weapons to drug traffickers who then confront the Mexican army, (it has dismantled many cartels) the Mexican army cannot combat that monopoly that leaves great profits for US-American businessmen.

Do ya think? Approx $4,500 +/- worth of weaponry purchased by a 18 year old kid who "used" to work at Taco Bell. He had no job, no drivers license, no vehicle and was just in a argument with his Grandma about paying a cell phone bill. Do that math people, surely you can't be that stupid!
He's either a drug dealer or he has some sponsors who financed this FALSE FLAG ATTACK.
