I was #50! This place is best bbq I’ve ever had. I got half a brisket, and a rack of ribs to go, put it in a cooler and traveled 4 hrs home and it was still warm.
How much did the half brisket and rack of ribs cost?

@@TheDaytripper Ripping off her customers selling SELECT grade brisket for about the same price as Franklin and others' PRIME grade briskets. Dont know anyone else using that crappy of a grade of brisket in the state.

@@acbc3543 I've actually changed my tune a little although you are correct they dont give a rats ass what I think. I say let the DUMB ASS ignorant tourists waste 4-8 hours of their time and $100+ for this pretty average SELECT grade brisket at a highly OVER rated BBQ joint. That way us locals will have less of a line (maybe 30 minutes) at Louie Mueller or Franklins or Blacks in Lockhart. I do still have a VERY real issue with them charging the same for crappy ass Select grade brisket as opposed to the PRIME grade Franklins charges the same money or the CAB that Blacks charges $20/lb for. That's a VALUE judgment.

The BBQ is not even in my top 10. It's good though, and its a fun experience you have to do at least once.
Can't hold in the excitement from watching this video as I'm fixing to head that way at 1am, I've literally haven't had anything since breakfast as I want to try it all.

Everything I had there was good but the chicken is perfect!!

I've been to Austin several times. Every time something has came up where I couldn't get to Snow's. Out of all the places I've been in Texas for bbq Franklin's is clearly the best followed by La bbq and Valentina's my only question is it truly better at Snow's? I got to get there while Ms. Tootsie is still running the pit.

2:35 - SELECT grade brisket? WOW that crap is far worse than ANY other briskets sold in Texas. Places like Franklins use PRIME, Blacks BBQ uses Certified Black Angus and the REALLY cheap places till use "choice". And they have the nerve to charge $28 a pound for THAT? They sell CHOICE briskets all the time at Safeways, Randalls and Albertsons around Texas for $1.97/pound all the time. RIP OFF.

If so, have at it and spend 3-6 hours trying to find the place and another 5 hours waiting on some dirt path for the "privilege" of hand ing over $100 bill for a lunch for MAYBE 3-4 people. good for you but most rationale TEXAS know where they can get BETTER brisket at the same or lower prices, less than an hour travel time and unless its Franklins, less than 30 minute wait at any day or time. Someone's never cooked a brisket and it shows. Smoked brisket is usually $25-$30 a pound.

And if you are skeptical that I can buy Select grade briskets at less than $3.00 pound at a grocery store chain, put your money where your mouth is. I've got $1,000 that says I (and everybody else) can at least a few times a years and I will cite the stores and appx date within the past 60 days I did just that. And my POINT was that nearly every BBQ joint in Texas (except this one) that charges upwards of $30/lb uses either Prime or CAB briskets and ZERO I know of use Select. So if you dont live in Texas you are the ignorant fool sir. Good day..

@@Mochi-sn3ud No need to idiot because my nephew cooks two briskets that I bought for $33 each and keeps one for his effort and gives me the other after smoking over post oak for 14 hours. My cost per pound of cooked brisket (including the brisket I bought for him) is right around $7.50/pound or $20-25 LESS per pound that folks that wait in line for 2-6 hours pay. And its just as good...
