Adam - pretty good job on this video. I would add refrigerant by weight though, like each can will deliver like 11oz (some will be used to purge the line). And use warm water, not hot, with a refrigerant can. And NEVER add sealer or refrigerant containing sealer.
I've never been a fan of stop-leak stuff
You should always use a micron meter
@Adam Lucas Cool video, thank you for the info! 👍
Most welcome! Glad it helped.
Thanks!
Welcome!
Digital Micron gauge is a must for Vacuum check
Use liquide by high side only😊
What do you think of an AC Valve Core Removal Tool that pulls the schrader valve out without having to discharge the system? Also wonder on GMC vehicles if you evacuate the AC system to go ahead and check and change the orifice tube? Just wondering if your other equipment is at your step-dad's house what did you use to evacuate this system? They also make an adapter for the new style freon cans to fit your old valve. Great Informational video for a new DYI person to learn from.
Yes, I really like the ac valve core removal tools. They are great if your system still has a charge. It's always a good idea to change the orifice tube, but not always necessary. My rule on those tends to be based on how long the system was evacuated.
Thanks
Is the valve same as tire stem valve¿
Very similar.
Wrong one man
Wrong what?
You didn't show how you released or recovered the charge prior to removing the valve core.
Can you imagine the people who will just unscrew the core with pressure in the system???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣
