  • The makers of Mercedes Classic revived the legend and reconstructed the Renntransporter, the brand‘s racing car carrier from 1954, with many original parts. With a top speed of 170 km/h the vehicle was almost twice as fast as conventional trucks, which allowed the team to take a damaged race car to Stuttgart in order to repair it overnight and participate in the race the following day.
