You forgot to mention how there is a plane lock when you move and expand for new people and you have to change it under a tab

How do I change it
A good tip i have for beginners is that whenever your watching a scripting tutorial, dont just copy and paste the script. Make sure that you actually understand what each line of code does. This is very important if you really want to get better at scripting and overall make better games without having to rely on tutorials that might be outdated or might not work anymore.
I have a question about that, i am gonna be starting with coding/building in studio. Can i just search what the lines of code mean on google or just find out on my own? And, what should i do first, building in studio or actual coding, or does it not matter?
@@Wunderssss Try by yourself but don't drive yourself mad to the point of quitting, also, depend on what kind of developper you are, if you more a gameplay one, coding would be more useful than for builder or story lover developper.
@@inihilisme1511 I actually tried to learn Roblox studio once but I quitted because I relied on script tutorial as the OP mentioned and most of them didn't work so I couldn't figured out how should I proceed. I also relied on premade models and of course, models that need specific functions such as guns that need to fire projectile didn't work for most of models I took from toolbox. This time I actually wanna learn how to make everything from scratch if it's possible. From making each part of model to scripting. I think I'm a gameplay one. I actually learnt how to code with C language and it wasn't too hard for me to understand what does each line do. But yeah, C language has nothing to do with Lua so I don't know if I will succeed this time.
@@kladius8045 late reply but learning basics is good but althought instead learning coding for roblox you should just the learn LUA itself because its very easy compared to python,etc as it was made for youth

One of the best hotkeys are 1,2,3 and 4 to switch between Select, Move, Scale and Rotate.

I hope all is going well. As someone in the game development industry, Roblox Studio is very close to the other Game Engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, and Godot. This knowledge carries over to those engines and even some 3D Animation software like Blender. That means if you like making games with Roblox, maybe you would be interested in being your own game developer!
@@Pluto-ek3mh3ds max is better than blender though lol. I know because I do a lot of development work for fiveM(gta5 role play) on pc. I would rather use 3ds max any day of the week over blender.

Yes you can but you have to add textures to every little thing you have in the build so its a pain
Fun fact: you don’t have to use wasd to move you can if you want but you can also use the arrow keys

Don't be limited to the minimal rotation! This tutorial isn't the highest quality, but it absolutely gets the point across
