Hallelujah Amen👏👏👏 I'm so blessed to say that I left the rat race over 10 years ago to start my own. Thanks my fellow sisters for liberating more of us to bet on ourselves ❤ especially what is going on in front of us in America right know. Anyone not happy please look at exit plans before this upcoming election.

Great discussion. I hear a lot of Gen X women say some version of this. It seems like they are waiting for things to change and that a workplace is going to change based on their sheer will, determination, and dedication to the fight.
Sounds like a lot of work. No, thank you.

This was so helpful and insightful. I love you beautiful ladies advice.
I'm in the process of my exit plan in a very toxic workplace and manager giving me more duties than others and unreasonable deadlines.
My peace, happiness and wellbeing over everything ✨️

I’ve done the same thing in interviews when asked why I left the job. I said I left the job due to it’s toxic work environment and I was still offered jobs.
In fact, NOW some of my TOP MAIN questions are:
How would you describe the work environment?
How do you deal with toxic employees?
I’m open now to IF I can find out beforehand then I’ll turn down the job.
The problem is that you often don’t know UNTIL you get in the job but I’m a firm believer that there’s ALWAYS another job.
God does not want His children misused and abused!🙏🏽

This conversation was so good. I’ve always practiced this strategy but I didn’t have the language to describe it so I thank you sisters.
Anytime I felt like my job was toxic I was gone, good pay or not. So I found myself leaving jobs after 3 years max because I wasn’t going to tolerate discrimination or disrespect by anyone.
It has cost me at times financial instability and ostracism from friends and family but I continued to push forward with my mind intact and good physical health.

Anytime I felt like my job was toxic I was gone, good pay or not. So I found myself leaving jobs after 3 years max. I’ve worked with some evil bosses of different races and genders, I would leave because I wasn’t going to tolerate discrimination or disrespect by anyone.

When Attorney Archer spoke about the employee working while the employer is in the Mediterranean on a yacht, it reminded me of something I heard on Instagram. It goes like this. The employee sees his employer getting out of a beautiful, shiny pickup truck. He compliments his employer on how nice the truck looks. He marvels at the truck. The employer says to his employer, he asked? You like it? The employer says yes, it's a beauty. His employer comes back with, well, if you continue to come to work on time every day and work really, really hard. Next year I can buy myself another new one.

What is you problem? You claim you’re being racially discriminated against at work and THEN you tell us the superior hassling you was black?? Did it ever dawn on you that maybe YOU are the problem, not them? This woman on the right quit job after job because she couldn’t handle it and what job has she made for herself? “Counseling” others to quit their jobs???? That’s beautiful!
