I see Sandro. I click. I just need Sandro in the thumbnails.
You were born with testicles bruh…
Yeah
Realest comment I’ve seen😂💯

I'm cool with Angelina being in the thumbnails too ;)
Angelina and Sandro are this channel. Love them both so much.
For real. Those 2 make me click every time. But the other dudes sittin with em make me laugh too. 🤣
Im starting to like steph quite a bit too.
and the new gurl is there too!!!
brooo the brak avatar!
Yeah steph is better with Sandro then angelina... idk who I'd bang first though...
73 Y old mechanic here. The first car I ever worked on was a 54 Chevy Belair. My dad broke it and said if I can fix it I can drive it. The problem was a broken u joint. I was 18. I rolled it down the hill of our drive into the street. I pushed it to get it rolling and ran it up on the curb. It had an enclosed drive shaft. I laid in the gutter and fixed that u joint. He didn't tell me it had a bad starter. No tool I had could get to the back starter mounting bolt. I took a 1/2" boxed wrench and sledged hammered it into a curve to get to that bolt. Mom said Ramond (my Dad god rest his sole) Was laughing while he watched me out the window. "He really wants to drive that car." That's what started me into wrenching. And yes I still have that wrench. Love you guys and girls keep them coming.
neat!
great story man
Great story, thanks for sharing.
I am only 57 but got my start the same way, mine was a 71 Duster no start. I learned wiring and what a ballast resistor was, gota love then old Dodges everyone had a spare in the glove box lol. Fused links and soldiering wires, how hot solider can be on skin. I got hired as an apprentice just because I would do wire jobs under dashes and tight small spaces. My first year I must have installed 500 radios.. After none came back I got stuck with every wiring job that came in. Then the 90's came and everything went ECU controlled man I made a killing as I was into computers. At one point our shop was getting cars towed in from other shops for me to fix.
I have a small tool box full of home made tools after 40 years 9-5ing it most only ever used once, but I have it if I never need it again.
52yo and I have had many $500 cars. Always fixed in the driveway with whatever tools and parts I could cobble together because I was poor.
I still do my own work mostly, but with better tools and youtube videos. 😊
“If your beard can’t connect neither can we” SHOTS FIRED!
I love Sandro's honesty with the radiator burns. "How do YOU know that?" Sandro:"I ****ed up."
For real 😂😂😂
Fucking legend
That got me 😂

How is Sandro so f’ing COOL lmao
Dude just exudes charisma.
Was fun to see him flustered tho!
The man is certainly at the top of his game.
100% and he is able to bounce off of anyone, though I personally prefer him and Angelina as she's pretty much same, charismatic, knows what she is talking about and proper nut case, with the addition of pedagogical experience, so she's able to simplify things for us who are not that car savvy ^^'
It’s called being a normal human being male lol
Fr. Cooler than the other side of a cucumber pillow
Angelina and Sandro, Instant watch. Steph is on the come up. Glad they all are in a single video. Soon, this'll be a channel with super charismatic mechanics. The dream!
Sandro will forever be one of my favorite people. Angelina has grown on me as she has gotten more comfortable. She came in trying to just be a teacher (since that is her normal job I think) and not showing too much personality but now she is growing into it and its great. Steph seems great as well still new but she seems more comfortable on camera for being new than most people.
Hate to break it to you, bro, but if Miss A had to grow on you, you into dudes...
@@aranmurphy1 ooooor maybe they think "hot" and "smart/interesting/a good youtube video guest" are separate things???
I get you. Angie's always been knowledgable but now that she's settled in, she's found her groove. I particularly like when she and Sandro have the wrenching angel(ina) and devil on the shoulder dynamic, they're so good together in studio.
@@aranmurphy1 Are you single?
@aranmurphy1 I can almost guarantee Angelina is a lesbian, which sucks. She’s cute as hell.
🤣"Wherever she is she's mad"🤣 Sandro kills me!
he knew lmao
lol he knows she's not cool with a hyna co-host
He is going to get a sandal upside the head when he gets home 🤣🤣
I think the joke he was making was that he doesn't *have* a wife, lol. But I could be wrong
Ang and Sandro are the #1 reason I watch this
Me too.
i love them both but i also like it when they got someone whose not really jokes and just seen a coupla decades of shit. it's fun to see the difference in perspective/reaction.
Me too fo realz
For the boys my dude
They got me to follow both of them on IG even though I don't even actively use it, just to get that +1 for em haha
Its amazing how much Angelina actually knows. The little intricacies that make the difference are what separates the professionals from the rest
I love that Sandro knew he was gonna be in trouble soon as he got home to the wife.
After Steph took it there at 7:55, my dude spent a LOT of time just lookin' straight ahead at the camera and the monitor lol
7:43
they've got an awesome cast of people there.
Only guy on here that I think wasn't a winner was that one cocky repo dude.
@@RaptorJesusThat dude was weird for a lack of a better word.
lose both chicks especially Angelina and just have Justin and Sandro, then you will be right.
@@beardsntoolsAbsolutely not.
@@Raz0rking Stop simping, this angelina chick is annoying af.
we've all been there with one of those 10 minute jobs that turns into an hour due to a seized and or sheared bolt
Replacing any blower motor ever 😭
Hell I don't even work on cars and I've been there. Some old bolt near a wall. d
Don't remember the specifics, but it was related to a lift pump. I was a lot younger and not at all handy yet, and my parents only had hand tools. I think after many rounds of WD-40, putting a screwdriver into the box end of a wrench just to get a better grip is what did the trick.
it would be so nice if monkeys would start using torque wrenches once in a while instead of muscle memory
The amount of times I've been slumped up against the wall, covered in grease and oil, wondering why I didn't take up knitting as a hobby instead, is too many too count.
Couldn't get a steel fuel line to come apart to get it out of my way in my first car (a rust bucket), asked my dad to help and he snapped the line right off 😂
15:33 sandro smooth with that line. Also him hiding after he said his wife will be angry is too good.
Sandro got me laughing for the first time. The Cookie Monster line got me 😂
COOKIEEE 😂😂
Love that Sandros side is always just " beep beep beep beep" 😂 love that he keeps it real
sometimes i think fking R2D2 joined the conversation ;D
Yes I love that they didn’t try to make him tone it down
@adamlauko7801 LMAO I'm dead🤣😭
We need to see the sandro vs angelina race!
for da boys.
I was a mechanic for a small used car lot when I was younger. I had long hair. One day, I had an engine running and was trying to figure out which pully was making noise. They all felt fine, so I was leaning in to try and hear which one it was. Suddenly my friend just snatched me back violently. It turns out my hair was about a half inch away from getting sucked into the belt. I got a haircut on the way home that night.
As a welder, Chromate Corp makes a welding rod just for broken bolts. The flux protects the threads. Used it a few times and can say, top notch.
that is pretty damn cool. TIL
I guess the heat from the weld helps with the threaded portion in the casting to loosen up things.
@@roberthorseman7432 it does. They make a welding rod to remove broken bolts. The flux protects the threads and after it’s welded up, spins right out. Extractalloy, chromate makes it.
Angelina, Steph and Sandro in the same video? YES please :)
one step closer for getting the duo of Angelina and Steph at the same table
spoken like a simp. But I agree justin and sandro should be together because they are the best this channel has to offer.
@@beardsntoolswhy you trying to insult me? if you don't like my opinion just ignore it. and kinda ironic comparing me to a simp when the same thing could be applied to your own comment

ANGELINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
SANDROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
My boy Sandro - could never get tired of seeing the dude talking about cars and Justin has grown on me too. Always lover Angelina - this entire cast is great!
Steph seems cool too, but Angelina and Sandro will always be my number 1s
15:28 Some wise words from Angelina
At 12:50, I felt that. I felt that deep in my soul.
Working as an aircraft mechanic on second shift (ending at 11:00PM) to finish working on a plane that was scheduled to fly at 8:00AM next day. One of the few things left to fix was to replace an exhaust gasket (they're brass and steel) on one of the cylinders. Job should take about 30 minutes, but the exhaust blowby from bad gasket corroded one of the two studs that held the riser and it snapped. Crumbled actually.
- had to pull the whole cylinder off to work on replacing the stud (+1 hour)
- thermal and penetrating oil soak prep (+.5 hour)
- after drilling though part of the stud and trying to extract it, the hardened steel extractor bit snapped inside the drilled hole and had to be removed without being able to drill it out (+1 hour)
- continuously drilling with increasing size bits through the rest of the stud and prep for helicoil install (+1 hour)
- cursing and yelling again as the drill bit for the final helicoil size snapped inside the hole and needed extracting without damaging the cylinder head (+1 hour)
- installing new helicoil and stud took couple minutes
- reinstalling the cylinder (+1 hour)
After the final runup, leak check, cleanup, and buttoning up of all panels and getting the plane ready, it was 6:00 AM.
It's stuff like that that's made me reconsider my career
Zinda, his eyes red. The beast at Tanagra. Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel.
Well done. I hope your effort was recognized as it should be!
That's sadly relatable as a software developer. One screwed up line of code and a scrappy debug that gives useless error codes equals potential hours of investigation and fixes.
Hats off to you for getting the job done.
I went to college for aircraft maintenance. It's stories like these, let alone what the FAA might do if they trace an F up back to you, that makes me grateful I only got one job in the field.
You left off the part about needing to report to a person who's never turned a wrench why a 30 minute job took 6 hours...
They definitely need to be full time Donut employees! Haven’t laughed this hard in awhile.
justin’s face when angelina was teaching us was so not fair💀 angela teaches me so much in these videos
I think it was more that he couldn't picture himself doing that horrible job 😂
I just commented this, she went to full teacher mode 😂😂😂, the closeups on justin is so funny
I thought it was because he snapped a bolt in one of donuts videos
That was Angelina saying "this is how you fix it" and Justin saying "this car is totaled"
@@johnfgt500 I thought he was making his faces because, in theory, yes, you drill a hole into the snapped off bolt, tap the extractor in...but then in reality, you try to remove it with the extractor and it snaps, too. Or it doesn't come out. (Some extractors are better than others, and I think maybe don't bang them in super hard, too.)
16 minutes with these 3 is just still not enough. 😂
Shoutout to the guy with windshield issues. Appreciate the honesty. Too many channels show what’s best case scenario, but not enough show the hard side. Thank you!
Sometimes videos showing what not to do (in this case replacing your own windshield) are infinitely more valuable than how to videos...
Im a mechanic and i worked for sometime in a shop looking how it's done by someone else. Years later, friend wanted to glue a windshield by himself to save money. I was "ok, i'll *help* bud but no guarantees". We checked everything, twice. Did a cold run. Talked about what to do, how, when and who does it and what if things start to go sideways.
In the end, we spent more time preparing then actually putting the glass in place and it worked fine. It was little offset but you couldn't notice it by eye. All in all, 8/10.
Gluing glass is not easy. If it's an option, please pay for a professional.
ps. i saw in the shop once a car with glass that was so loose we just lifted it off the car. No knife, no nothing. It was holding on with just the gravity and the trim.
I did my own windshield by myself on my first car. I went to a windshield shop to buy the trim, and the guy was cool as hell. He gave me a lot of pointers. Also gave me these hard rubber blocks that you use to set the windshield flush. Honestly, getting the old one out by myself was the hardest part. I had the wire, but you can't really do the whole thing by yourself with that. I ended up using a torch to melt the inner plastic and broke out chunks. It may have been unconventional, but it worked. I succeeded, and you couldn't pay me to ever do another one. I had urethane adhesive on my hands for weeks.
@@alaric_ way to go man! That’s a huge project to tackle. I hear that windshield glue is no joke and you need to be one careful Carrol , working with it
@@SwapPartLLC oh man! That’s wild!! Way to go tho, I’d be very proud to have done that.

14:10 learnt that lesson at 12 years of age. One trip to AE later 3rd degree burn to my right arm and so much pain
13:29 I learned a valuable lesson from a friend of mine. When working on an engine if you can heat it up without hurting anything heat it up before you take a bolt out. Remember it can’t be stuck if it’s a liquid.
1:41 🤣 This channel is the best. I don't think there's anything better than funny people w/ chemistry and great editors. Love this crew. Plus, I get to learn shit too! 🤘
The comedy of my guy sandro and the beauty of Angelina makes this series worth while watching..luv them both
@5:00 We had some ROUGH labor times for Triumph motorcycles. Most stuff you could make the cut with a good pace, but their warranty was criminal. We had a customer come in needing an engine swap on a full size adventure bike. Book time was 14 hours, warranty paid 7.
14:00 India is not for beginners 🤣
And that is the normal amount of dye we usually have in our coolants
I had an intake manifold bolt break off in the head of an old 351W. (I was replacing the manifold). It was the rear-most bolt, which was under the wiper motor. Finally got the bolt drilled out. Went to run a tap thru the threads and managed to _break the effing tap in the bolt hole_ !!! I finally was able to get the tap out with an air hammer and pointy bit. It took a full day to get just the bolt hole ready!!!!!
that's exactly why I never liked mechanical work. I do house repairs, LTC, and new built, painting, landscaping but not engines. Nooooooo.
Sandro is the man. Super knowledgeable and straight-up funny af.
Lying on the concrete about to get past the half way point of a job and a bolt decides to ruin all of your plans. @15:05 is one of the most relatable situations I've ever seen.
one of the greatest videos ever. Angelina and Sandro rule.
Greatest ever? You have some corn on the top of your nose.
14:52 Oh man i've been there. Not for an engine oil pan but for the transmission pan. All the bolts were 10mm. There's a good quarter of them that decided to start stripping their head because they were too rusty (pan was getting change because it was rusted through) I had to use a smaller socket and hammer it on those stripped bolts to finally screw them off. The pain is real.
11:38 absolutely hilarious the duality of the metaphor 😂😂😂
The whole cast killed it in this one.
1:30 Ms. A's laugh is the best 👏✨😂

Just in case yall weren't aware the sponsor ad didn't have the little progress bar. Really appreciate you guys do that so hoping it's just a mistake
I noticed that too on some of their videos. Makes me wonder if it's just because a different editor worked on the video, or because some sponsors have stipulations against the progress bar/chaptering.

Always chock the wheels is underrated advice. Putting one end up on jack stands, jacking up certain cars, any drive line or diff work, any situation where you can possibly conceive the vehicle shifting or moving, chock those wheels. Also, always push test your jack stands, shove it, shake it, make sure you're stable in all directions. Don't slack on safety.
Ive said it before but I REALLY like the 2 pairs of double mechanics format. Love the Donut guys, but I really like just hearing from the guest mechanics.

Steph is goals.
For the overheating clip with the weird plastic in the coolant. I personally would say it is likely more than one problem but coolant pump impeller is probably shredded and/or the thermostat is stuck closed.
Correct! The pump had pretty much shredded itself off of its shaft so it was no longer spinning
We need more Steph and Angelina 😍😍😍
Every time Angelina laughs, an angel gets its wings. And it makes me smile.
I actually like the Steph and Sandro pairing. There was great dynamic between them...
11:00 I thin Angelina figured it out. Blown head gasket. I’d add potential head warpage. I had a Subaru 2.5 H4 with a warped head that was over pressurizing the coolant system. It was blowing pressure by the head gasket into the cooling system. Makes sense. First check for leaks, then check radiator blockage, then it’s gonna be your head gasket.
Wasn't the head gasket, it was the water pump
The fins had come detached and it wasn't forcing the coolant to circulate and the stuff floating around was some anti leak my old mechanic put in there
13:36 this all sounded sexy. Im sorry 😅😅😅

I had my car slip off the stands in my driveway. Driveway was angled, and I would always block both rear wheels and set the parking brake. I got lazy, no complacent. The bumper cover landed on my chest and I couldn't move forward or backwards. I was unhurt, but I certainly was stuck af. Like, "what are you doing there step bro?" stuck. I had to wait for someone to walk by and start calling out for help. I was there for 20 minutes or so contemplating my stupidity before my neighbour came by and used the jack to free me.
12:33 "He got room" no... no he didn't... he took the whole engine off and then did that LMAO
4:13 My issue was heat/impact resistance. *THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT THE **_RAYCON IMPACT EARBUDS!!!_*

useful tip: if you get a burn, get plain yellow mustard. rub it on the affected area thickly. allow to dry. after dry rinse off with cool water. it helps prevent and reduce blisters and draws heat out so the pain will subside. but if bad enough. still seek professional medical attention
When my father was 16, he was getting ready to ride his motorbike from his friends house in England to his family’s house in Scotland. The night before, he decided to do some work on his bike. He was putting the oil pan back on when he heard a little click as he turned a screw. Thought nothing of it. Halfway to Scotland, the bike spilled its guts out from under him. Turns out, the click was the screw snapping the pan, causing a small oil leak which eventually seized the engine. Second half of the trip was spent 1) in the back of a delivery van he was hitchhiking in 2) walking an unridable bike down cobblestone streets in rural England and 3) in the mail car of a train for the rest of the way.
Sold the bike to his friend after months of getting new parts and 50 years later, with very little effort, it still runs.
Last time I changed shops, one of the first things I asked to see were their shop-made tools were. There are levels to making custom tools, and I won't work for a place that makes them janky and single-use-only.

I love your alls donut hemorrhoid pillow (3:40)! It turns a usually embarrassing item into a great conversation piece! 😂🍩
10:30 it's pushing coolant out of the radiator into the expansion tank because there is combustion leaking past the head gaskets. Pull the engine, deck the heads and block surfaces. New head gaskets new bolts on fresh surfaces. Obviously reseal everything else along the way.
Wasn't head gasket, it was the water pump
“When a customer calls me and they’re like, hey my cars going glom nom nom, what do you think it is?” “Idk the fuckin Cookie Monster?” 😂😂😂
7:00 I’d guess it was moved so that a loss of coolant gives a faster response for engine protection. I’ve seen these sensors moved after engineering is asked to look at a bunch of cooked engines. And come up with a fix, fast.
