- It's Here! Season 3 of Macy's Parade Balloons is here! And to start if this season is the 1st Video Game Character Balloon in the Parade's history, who is also my most request character to date with Sonic the Hedgehog in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Frankly I think nintendo should have capitalized on bringing mario to the parade this year for his 35th anniversary. But I guess nintendo doesn't care that much about that even though they've allowed pikachu to represent pokemon numerous times now.

Glad your doing season 3! This is starting to get my fall festivities in my heart to enjoy the parade and football games every year.
i bet Tails, Amy, Knuckles the Echidna, Sticks the Badger, Marina, Rouge, Shadow, Jet, Cosmo, Bunnie Rabbot, Sally Acorns, Espio the chamaleon, Blaze the cat, Cream the rabbit and Cheese, Vanilla rabbit, Tom "donut lord" Wachowski, Maddie Wachowski, Longclaw and even dr. Robotnik will be watching his triumphant return in the parade this year

Excellent start to season 3, dude. Sonic was definitely a good choice to kick this season off being a favorite balloon of mine. Good to see this series come back, and I’m excited to see what else this season will bring us :)

For this occasion i made two drawings, but showing the same subject: one showing Sonic being interviewed by Al Roker and another which shows that Sonic brought the whole gang (in this case Knuckles the echidna, Tails Prower, Amy Rose, Sticks the badger, Cream the rabbit, Sally Acorn, Bunnie Rabbot, Jet the hawk and Dr. Eggman, of all people) to see the parade

I’m so excited for that, I’ve been a Sonic fan since I was in my late years in Elementary School, I haven’t seen that balloon since Middle School, I literally can’t wait to see my handsome blue boy in the parade again when I found out about this, best thing I’ve ever heard from the news!

I'm a lifelong Sonic fan and it sucks that this balloon was cursed.
I think the fault lies with the design. There isn't an even distribution of size, with the front "his head" being much larger than the rest of his body.
