The number of times I've been with a teammate heading back to our goal via the side boosts with barely any boost myself, and my teammate collects the mid boost. I'm fine with it, and head over to our corner boost to get my own share. But then my teammate taps boost, specifically to collect said corner boost leaving me completely dry.

the game is based in luck most of the times people just play a game up to 5 games a day and sometimes a week without any warm up , and these people can play good one game but the other game play bad . Similar to my situation I can't keep the same playstyle match after match idk why , one match I play good then the next match I can't even hit the ball .

The worst teammate I ever had was some guy that said "great pass" to himself after I scored a goal. He then typed "well was it a good pass or not?" I ignored him and then he threw the game because I didn't say thanks or something

I am a champion II in Rocket League and I've made a lot of mistakes, like just going for corner boost pads or double commiting. But watching videos like these makes me help learn my mistakes.
I have a lot of bad teammates in champion that the either double commit or just misses the ball completely.
This video shows the mistakes your teammate makes while playing.
I mean, if he was going for the ball/taking boost, I defend more.

I'm a pretty terrible RL player but it gives me confidence to know that I'm at least on the right track when it comes to tactics/teamwork etiquette etc. All the stuff you pointed out drives me crazy too, just sadly in my life as a perpetual diamond player I deal with it all the time.
I've watched this singular video so many times. I can't count how many times I've had a teammate who appears overly aggressive, then suddenly becomes passive af, often ending up lodging himself in my cars ass because he's following way too close.
In my gold 3 games in 3v3, it feels fast. But then I watch the replay and realize how garbage we all are playing (and it feels so slow)

Took a break from RL, because it got toxic AF half a year ago and just picked it up again recetly. ALMOST all of my teammates play like this. Don't know if a lot of new players just learn the technical side or that there are more and more younger players, but tactically most players have no idea what to do. They constantly fake going back to goal, do solos when they can pass, ballchase, turn ASAP when they see you going for goal, because they think they could also get it better than you. It's getting pretty disheartening.

In almost every game i've played with teammates i have noticed that the average player is just very.. dumb. They always make the dumbest plays and haver no idea what they are doing but have decent mechanics/aim and think that is the only important thing. Meanwhile they have worse gamesense that people that have never even played the game and aren't smart enough to notice.

I had one that did this during a 3v3 tournament, ball is gonna clearly land, run out remaining time and we win. Instead he hits it into the corner, bounces it up, and sets up a great pass, and the other team scores forcing it into overtime. I Love it here.

1.: Let me take the ball when we are both there.
2.: Let me take the ball when I am not there.
3.: Let me take the ball when I face to our own goal.
4.: Let me go for it even if I am further away.
5.: Let me fly for it because I am better than all of them. If I cant reach it, nobody can.
6.: Let me take my 3rd 100% boost in 5 seconds.
7.: Let me take another 100% if I am at 90%, I need it more than them. ALWAYS!
8.: Let me attack you defend. Alone.
9.: If we lose must be my teammate's fault.
10.: If it is not my teammate's fault, must be the lag.
I know it may seem like you have ass teammates, and you probably do, but when you reach a certain level of skill, you’ll dominate bronze players by yourself and easily rank up. Most of the time, bronze players can’t fly, don’t rotate, whiff a lot, and don’t know how to manage boost. Be aware that they’ll mess up more times than not. That’s what separates plats from silvers and bronze. Now diamond and global ranked players compared to Plats...that’s where you’ll see a real difference in skill. You’ll be fine once you play enough.

Im absolutely terrible at the game, so I have no real room to talk... But it blows me away how many times I have a scoring line set up in front of me and a teammate comes in from the side and slams the ball into the wall just because they feel the need to hit it as often as possible.
