- Stallion the Freestyling Rocket League Bot is BACK! This bot can flip reset, air dribble, ceiling shot, ground pinch, and even Psycho. But can it beat professional freestyler in HORSE? In this video Stallion goes undercover to take on @PulseFireRL in a shot for shot, clip for clip battle. The catch? Fire doesn't actually know he's playing a bot. Will this Rocket League prank work? How long can I trick a Pulse Freestyler? Can a Bot actually beat a human Rocket League player? Let's find out!

He didn't know it was a bot. He also had the same car as the bot, making it easier for the bot to copy him
this time, the bot's car was the same as the freestyler, so there was no hitbox.to be abused

The bot cant do tricks on its own. It only replicates tricks humans have pulled off. Hence how he said the last shot was Mesko's shot. It was literally Mesko's shot.

Plot twist: Pulse Fire was actually playing against a real player but rocket sledge, hearing him insist the actual player was a bot, felt bad for him and ended up titling the video sum like "Fire plays bot"
Like Mr. Redacted I too am a very thoughtful person and didn't want Fire to feel bad.

“Have the other player pass to me then do the corner bounce or whatever.” Then the bot can’t line up perfectly like the other player or run their own script from kickoff.
Pulses skill and consistency are really showcased here. Crazy how he manages to nearly replicate the bots shots.
1:15 "the ball to car contact" look how the ball spins on the car as if its made of ice. Fire noticed that small detail right away which led him to become suspicious. what a legend.
I mean... I'm no pro but I've played enough to know the ball doesn't move like that.

I did tell him Retals gave more letters to the bot...ended up cutting that part though
That was also an earlier, glitchier version of the bot which kept breaking I think.

Yo Sledge on your last video I asked you to make a series out of this and you replied saying that was the plan. Not long after I realized this would last maybe one more video before your bot would be too famous. Fire was a good pick I think, it’s a shame he’s a genius 😂 kudos man, still entertaining af. It would still be cool to see what strats other freestylers have to beat the Freestyle Bot.
I think I have a plan for some more freestylers to challenge it.

How does it work with saving the shots since it has to observe for the shot but not the whole time because then you have alot of excess movement. Does the observing have to be switched on and off?
Yes, it has a "record" feature to get the player inputs while they are taking the shot.

i also cant believe how he programmed this but yeah after thinking about it he also said it in the video he pre recorded shots from other professional freestylers and then made a button to do that thing. pretty impressive
Except he also copied Fires pinch from earlier in the 1v1 and perfectly recreated it somehow

@@geraldrea5917 This is late so I don't know if already know, but he mostly just recorded pulse's button inputs and replayed them exactly
If I was fire, I would have done something like moving the ball from the centre and switching team from orange to orage (to reset position) and waiting a while or even switched to a car that the bot might not have (batmobil or smt before the challenge)
Retals did something similar by utilizing the different hitboxes between his car and the bot's
I was thinking pinching the ball off of the bot and when the bot goes for it fire wouldnt be in the exact same position needed to replicate it
Just having the ball bounce off the bot at any point, and then completing a shot would have been enough! (As long as the shot was unique enough to not be in the bot's prerecorded library)

@@ignDart When the bot is replaying a shot that Fire just did, it's just performing the exact same car movements. So consider if Fire had bounced the ball off the bot, and then chased after where the ball ended up as a result of that bounce, and then scored. When the bot replays those car movements, it would hit the ball to where the bot was before, it would just roll through, and then the bot would go off chasing empty space because the ball isn't in the same place that it was when Fire was doing the shot. So it'd completely fail. So that's what I'm suggesting as a cleaner way of defeating the bot.

You should do an odd man out video with the bot - something like 5 GCS + 1 diamond and the GCS have to find the diamond -> but it's like 5 freestyler and the bot & they have to find the bot

Actually a way to beat it tho: Do a shot where you include both cars, for example the bot stands in the middle of the field, foir pinches on him and continues to freestyle it in and then stallion has to do the same but can't bc foir won't stand in the same position as stallion did
If you watch the first episode with Retals you will see he used some similar thinking in an attempt to break the bot.

Me and my friend had an idea about this literally last night and so weird that I find this video now. Our idea was a bit different tho, use this bot to have people to record their gameplay in order to have training packs that allow you to practice challenges/having people contest the ball when you're taking shots. This stemmed from a convo about my challenges being washed (I'm coming back from a break) and not really having a proper way to grind out practice for them
