I am ex-forces class 2 driver from the 80's and have not driven a HGV for over 20 years, I am taking my class 1 at the end of the month and finding these types of videos extremely helpful in getting my mind back in the game. I must say that this video is by far the best one I have seen, you manage to explain everything very clearly. Thank you for taking the time to make these as they really do help.
I’ve been driving class 1 for 6 years Done a lot of different driving. But I still learned some things from this video. Very calm, informative and helpful to all of us. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and upload.
Among all the Tutorials videos I have watched on CZcams. You are the best. Your Tips is second to none. You are really an excellent teacher indeed. Keep doing the good work.
I'm an ex class 1 myself, retired now, this is a really well informed video with beneficial tips to make life easier for any driver, calm and explained perfectly
Not a HGV driver but found this very interesting. A lot of effort and work involved in this so well done Hayley. Your career as an instructor is blossoming.
Hi Hayley. I start my first class 1 job on the 24th October after passing my test last November. Very helpful reminders. Thanks for your excellent tutorial 👍
i’ve been driving class 1 for nearly 3 months now and I have picked up so much from this video wasn’t even expecting it 😅. Thank you so much you do explain it very well.
I am the typical new Class 1 driver, so this video is incredibly helpful. So good to anticipate problems and have a good idea of how to fix them. Brilliant Hayley, keep up the good work. Mark.
Good video Haley. A note on the Shunt Button, when used the trailer has no brakes at all (not just ABS) which can be risky with a loaded trailer. All in all you have covered lots of tips that lots of us have had to learn the hard way. This video will be of great value to new starts and some experienced drivers too. Keep up the good work.
Great video Hayley, very clearly put together and so much of this will be so useful to so many drivers. Particularly those just starting out! Brilliant 😎
Great video Haley. The raising and lowering the air suspension was so helpful. I’ve watched and rewatched you video on reversing. You have been such a good help. 😇👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for all the help with the suspension lifting tips to attach trailer and if you have difficulty with the legs.. I didn't realise there's so much to learn after you pass your test.. your a great teacher 🎉
Thanks for another superb video hayley. As you know, I'm a new driver and still learning so definitely I picked up some useful tips from this one. Looking forward to part 2. Hope to see you around the yard soon
Great video and lots of helpful tips . Your video on tachographs helped me get started the other day as the driver that was helping me had to do an early run , so, i used your video to get going. ( Yes new LGV Driver on his second weeks work ). Cheers Hayley 🙂
That was a superb video Hayley, truly helpful. All that information is valuable to know. Your advice got me through all my initial bay reversing....."Left to bend it, right to straighten", something so simple made all the difference. Keep up the good work Hayley.
Fantastic video, have said many times you should be an instructor. You have a lovely way about you as well. Thank you for taking the time to help so many new and I suspect not so new drivers. 😊
Another good one Hayley, hopefully we can expect more videos? You’ve got a very exciting career and would be great to see you running a driving school one day
That's bloody excellent Hayley so well explained really well done I'm sharing this with a friend who has just passed I'm sure he will find some or all of them tips helpful 👍
Cracking video this. I passed with the draw bar so I could tow anything in a class 2 and the information on the turning with the artic was interesting. You wouldn’t think you could turn round in a tighter space. Great work…Subbed.
Excellent tips Hayley wish I knew some of these when I first started! Never knew about dropping the suspension to get the fifth wheel handle out I always backed it up more against the pin! Another tip if you still can't get the legs up with everything you have said drop the mid lift this will also raise the unit to help. Great video can't wait till part 2 👍

That was very good Hayley, ever thought about teaching......😉🤣🤣 Your approach to this was excellent and the tips were well thought out for new drivers, heck even I learnt something about that middle axle being past an obstacle then you can't hit it even on full lock, pure physics, now you've done even more of the sciences. All the best Hayley.
