  • Fair warning not a whole lot really happened on this trip. It rained a lot and we did get to test out the new AC unit we had installed last year. We did have a water site and the views were amazing! Shot on the GoPro Hero 9

Love the attitude; rain or shine enjoy it. Glad you mentioned you brought the rain coats. Thats exactly what you do. When we camp
our first night we have food prepped to make things easier and gives you time. We're in Miami, FL and own a new 2022 Imagine XLS 22mle. But our previous TT was a 19 footer. I didn't see a Weight Distribution Hitch(/ sway control; no need ?

We don’t need a weight distribution hitch with our little max. I used to live in SW FL and worked in Miami for a bit. I hope to take our max to Orlando maybe next year. Your TT is a great one we just didn’t want to buy a bigger tow vehicle until we are sure we are ok with towing even then we may get a class b

@@smallcamperbigfun That's great if a WDH/Sway control is not needed. Makes it much easier. Our camper is as large as would want to go. But may consider a 2nd smaller used camper for distant camping excursions.
Anyway great footage and real CZcams thanks. And more so today with fuel cost.

I see you own a Pilot. I own a 2022 Ridgeline. We are considering upgrading our Little Guy 5 Wide to a Mini Max. Any issues with your transmission and towing? What is your average speed? The owner’s manual recommends 55 mph. The Ridgeline/Pilot seems to be a 50/50 vehicle. Half the people say no problem. The other half have transmission overheating. Great videos.

Hey Lou thanks. We haven’t had any overheating issue or any other issues with our Pilot so far. I average around 55 for most trips and very rarely go over 60 while towing. I will note that we haven’t towed with a full tank of water wet always tow with an empty water tank not that will make a huge difference just wanted to note that. Hope this helps. Cheers
