When Freddie Mercury died that was probably the biggest loss in music ever. He was a pure genius.
They just don't make em like they used too.
The biggest loss in music is how many groups of people listen to too few styles of music, imagine how many more Freddie like singers or Bowie like or Prince like singers we could have if everyone heard them and was inspired by them. This is true of all styles of music
I was a manager in a shop that sold records the day it was announced Freddie had died early to get the papers ready, at 7:30 a.m. their greatest hits 2 was delivered and I put it on loud and it stayed on, loud, all day. We had zero complaints and our customers were of all ages and cultures.
The talent in Queen was ridiculous.
Freddie's one of the greatest rock singers, frontmen, songwriters, and performers of all time... but Queen was so great, they probably could have been a success even without their diamond lead singer. All 4 of them wrote at least one hit song.
@@UTU49 Not even the Beatles could claim that, if you add into the mix that all their songs royalties are put into a single queen pot and shared 4 ways you have a group of brilliant musicians who actually like each other too
He had such a gorgeous voice, and he was an expert showman. He set the bar extremely high for all artists
As an old guy who grew up with this music, I tend to forget that there is a complete generation out there who have never heard of Queen, one of the greatest bands ever. To see someone hear it for the first time, and get so much enjoyment out of it, brings a tear to my eye. Fantastic.
I really really appreciate this
Thank you so much!🙏❤️
I grew up in the ‘90s and it’s scary how quickly time passes, that, as you said, there’s a new generation that hasn’t heard Queen (Hell, I’ve seen reactions from kids who haven’t even heard Eminem’s older stuff. Time flies).
I am 15 and I really LOVE QUEEN, THEY ARE THE REAL LEGENDS and I always become so happy if I listen to this except for the ‘Love of my life` than I have to cry 😅☺️🥲
Yes it is so great to see this generation discovering them. Freddie truly was a one off. I still miss him. Lovely to see the reactions of hearing it for the first time. It made me tear up a bit.
Totally agree!
Freddy was the greatest front man there ever was. You should check out Queen at Live Aid. Just about every big artist in the world at that time played there in 1985. It was the biggest show of all time, organised to raise money for starving people in Africa. Amost every famous singer and band was there. And Queen blew them all away.
Ben Orr the Cars
Queen did blow them all away. The rest of the bands literally gave what many critics have called ok performances while Queen gave one of their best show's ever!
And with a throat infection Freddie still performed masterfully
Chris cornell was the closest in our generation for a comparison.
So was axl rose
Everybody's reaction to this song should be the same as yours.
Yes, you´re right... that´s real
Everytime I listen to this song I've her same reaction. You should see my face now
Freddie Mercury the ultimate showman absolutely brilliant.
I get chills every time I listen to Freddie. The greatest vocalist to ever touch this earth 💯
Same ❤️❤️❤️😞 I just so wish he wouldn’t of gone so soon
@@aestheticsbyjasmine940 💯
There will never ever be anyone who even comes close to the genius that was, is and always will be..........
Mr Freddie Mercury
It is so wonderful to see a young person's reaction to one of the great Rock Masterpieces of all time.
A pure genius. A man ahead for his time
One of the most beautiful songs ever made.
His voice was priceless as was the look on your face hearing him. We will all miss him he was truly one of a kind!
I’m 14 and my dad has brought me up on rock music. It’s the only thing I listen to. I adore queen and think they are so amazing. Freddie has made such an impact on the world and i am glad people are enjoying his music.
You are off to a great start Eve. :)
Give pink floyd a shot
I have three kids, all brought up on rock music like you and to this day they all adore Queen, I've been a fan from 1975, so almost fifty years!! So just keep on rocking..... no music like it. ❤️❤️❤️
@@helencooper2621 turning 16 now and I’m still in love with the bands music
First sorry for my english. I love Queen from my 10 yrs. Im 40 now. F.M. is gof of singers. He s the best. Thats all
Dam that voice is just amazing. R.I.P Freddie Mercury.
I love to see the reactions of young people. With the music I was listening to in my teens and early 20s.
I agree. hearing this when it first came out was something special. It still is!
Absolutely the greatest front man EVER. His stage presence and the way he HOLDS an audience and OWNS them is incomparable. It puts Elvis and Michael Jackson in awe. Freddie, you were sheer genius.
There’s a reason that Freddie is the Queen of rock
Michael Jackson was a massive Queen fan and attended many of their gigs, that’s how he and Fred became friends
Himself and Bruce Dickenson (Iron Maiden) are in their own league!
Very well said !!!
Freddie Mercury G.O.A.T
This is probably going to blow your mind:
Freddie Mercury wrote ALL of Bohemian Rhapsody by himself. No songwiters for him: He was just that good.
🤯❤️
All the voices are him as well.
@@alittlebitgone nope; Roger Taylor recorded vocals during the opera part
@@alittlebitgone not true. 3 of them sang.
Loved to see the pure joy on your face! 😊. Your smile melts hearts.
Steven Petersen Thank you🙈
That was my thought too. Wonderful to see such joy.
I thought that exact same thing. I usually am transfixed by Freddie Mercury but I couldn't stop watching Mo. Absolute and pure joy.
I’ve heard this song hundreds of times, I just stopped in to see your smile.
Freddy reached legendary status with all of his fans in no time
Baby girl, you are looking beautiful as always.
Suggestion: Check out Queen's performance at Live Aid. It's considered by many to be the greatest live performance ever. It's about 20 minutes, but worth every second. Freddie was on fire that day.
Thank you😍
Also from every account I’ve seen of this historical event; he was already suffering from complications with hiv that effected his vocal ability. With raw passion and talent even a horrible illness such as AIDS couldn’t suppress his God given ability
Every artist that performed that night said they regretted having to follow Queen and more specifically Freddie Mercury. The most famous bands in the world and they didn't want to perform after Freddie. That is really speaking volumes about the power and talent of the greatest rock and roll singer and performer of all time!!!
@@michaelgraham6269 David Bowie went on DIRECTLY after Queen and he got pissed and apparently yelled at some of the guys backstage to the effect of "How the fuck am I expected to follow THAT!?"
Without a doubt..the best popular song ever ...
What a voice ,what a power .YOU ARE MISSED FREDDIE GOD BLESS YOU ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love him for ever
He was beautiful
There is not anyone like him
And wont be
He had an amazing voice and gave 110% every time he performed. More please.
Queen is my favorite band of ALL times - and seeing a lovely young lady like you discovering Freddie Mercury's genius is like manna from HEAVEN ! ! ! You simply must go down the Queen rabbit hole , my darling ! ! !;
Somebody to love at this same Montreal concert is AMAZING!
His best performance ever imo. Any song and venue.
My father took me to the Live Aid thing in Wembley. I was 14 years old. Will never forget!
That had to be an amazing experience
I wish I could see that smile on your face all the time. You just lit up like a beacon.
OMG the joy in your face! I’ve watched a couple of your videos now, and that joy gets me right in the heart. I’m joining the ranks of people who have a crush on you, girl 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Aww😁🥰🥰🥰🥰
Heard this a gazillion times and still gives me chills
That's my reaction every time I watch a Queen video tbh
You should react to Queen's set at liveaid, the full thing, it's like 20 minutes or so, and a handful of songs, but its Freddie being the boss he is
Simply the best!
Bless you Freddie you made the world a lovely place with your sheer brilliance, we miss you.
Queen has given us more WTF moments than any other band out there !
Have to say that this is one of the most genuine reactions I've seen of Queen. The big eyes and smile -and the spechlessness just answers all the love I have for Queen and other people finding them out. :)
Nothing can move a person like music. Your expression says it all.
This was the word this was the music
I highly recommend you react to "somebody to love" it's from the same concert Montreal live 1981.
Somebody to Love has energy and beautiful lyrics! Would love to see this one next!
YES
Yes, but listen to the studio version: the missing choir in the Montreal version makes it way less powerful. Just as the missing opening here is really like a missing thing.
Quiet 50 yr old
So unreal, magical..
I love seeing your face change with the song, your reactions are amazing. When people process music like this it's so fascinating to me because as someone who is primarily a writer, music to me is entirely internal because I start thinking of scenes, characters, settings, worlds, etc. I really, really enjoy your reactions, thanks for sharing.
Goose bumps... Masterpiece Bohemian Rhapsody.
The greatest rock song ever.
I'm not a huge Queen fan but I acknowlege that this is the greatest of all time.
same here...this song is hauntingly beauiful
The Greatest FrontMan ever Freddie Mercury. Everything about his initial FM is connected to music... Just like FM radio where people from all walks of life listen to their favorite songs.
Fredie : I dont wanna die
And i cant hold my tears
Queen= Magic. Love her reaction videos so beautiful!
Saw Adam Lambert with Queen Feb 2020 on the Gold Coast Australia and he was brilliant. Freddie would be proud.
probably one of the most missed musicians in the world and the best, he will be missed to my last days, we miss you deeply Freddy
There are those of us who have seen Queen live.....we truly are the lucky ones!
Ah Freddie Mercury the greatest showman of the 20th century. We will not see the likes of him for a very long time. The band Queen I grew up listening to and they can still stand the ages of time.
That whole concert is rocks greatest live performances.
Love these reactions....I grew up having seen and heard Queen so I never got the chance to experience it as an adult fr the first time...it’s an enviable position to be able to appreciate and hear this as an adult for the first time ! The reactions you have are so honest and lovely to witness!
I’d love to call it a first time reaction to Bohemian rhapsody in an upclose form. I do have my reasons for that😁
And by the way, Thank you so much!
Thank YOU for sharing! God bless!
:D
First heard this back in the 70’s but watching your reaction was like experiencing it for the first time, thank you!
He gave his life's story. And all you can do is listen
Freddie Mercury Forever Legend
How good was that?
Imagine hearing that when it came out, there was nothing like it then and nothing like it since x
I remember it like it was yesterday and seeing Queen do their "Night at the Opera" album that same summer. Same summer I went and watched Genesis do "Lamb Lies Down on Broadway".
I do remember. It was number 1 in the UK for 9 weeks on my 9th birthday. The video blew me away. My theory has been for many years is that it is Freddie coming to terms with his sexuality. The man he killed at the beginning is the Freddie in denial
I was out walking my dogs and felt in the mood to see somebody react to Queen after listening to “Show Must Go” and feeling nostalgic for Freddy Mercury & Queen. I literally stopped and sat on the grass to type this. Your reactions in your facial expressions were so pure. I knew within the first few seconds of hearing Freddie sing, that you got it. There never has, and there never will be, another singer & showman as good as him. I recommend you watch & react to the whole Live Aid performance by Queen. There will never be anything as incredible performed live ever again. It’s all done be just four men playing their instruments and singing. No auto tune. 🔥
Happy to see you enjoy, probably the greatest singer showman ever.....even now, long after his death. I still am stunned by the quality and talent and the greatness of Queen and Freddie Mercury. Morenikeji, you picked a great song and video and singer!!!
I met Queen and Freddie in 1978. Pure joy xx
I love watching your reactions, your expressions say everything you don't need to say anything! Also, you are so very beautiful, God is an awesome God!
John Gilbert Aww😊. Thank you!😍
Yes yes..God is an awesome God!😊
No one out does the original.
Your face was so happy the whole time. 👍
Queue the goose bumps ...... this song hits every single time.
Bohemian Rhapsody was written by Freddie Mercury and released in 1975 on Queen’s forth album A Night at the Opera.
Queen debuted Bohemian Rhapsody in full in 1977 during the tour for the band’s fifth studio album A Day at the Races.
To make it easier for performances, the intro section was cut entirely. Since that part is just Freddie Mercury multitracking himself.
When performed live, this was the order. Ballad section sung live, operatic section which comes courtesy of the original studio version, the rock section and ending section both sung live.
Even after the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991, Queen has still used that order to this day in live performances with Freddie on tape.
You really need to react to Queen live aid full concert 1985 it will blow you away I was there it was the best ever it’s so iconic it’s legendary it’s only 20 minutes long you will literally be blown welcome to the Queen journey I’m a huge Queen fan I have always been awesome reaction
Freddieeee, you will love his energy I bet you💞💞💞
lifestyle with Enny his energyyy!❤️
1st time I heard this song was in 1976. I was 11. It was at no 1 in the charts (where it belonged) for weeks on end.
Best reaction I’ve seen lovely smile all for queen
Morenikeji I just love watching your reaction videos. You're smile is like a sunbeam coming out from behind the clouds, it just brightens up the whole world. What a lucky family you have, to have their own personal ray of sunshine in you to brighten up their lives.
Aww🙈
Thank you!😍
it is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded
Queen + your smile = perfection
Beautiful reaction, dear! Queen is amazing, and Freddie was one of a kind. Amazing talent and frontman! I looking forward to more Queen. I suggest Is this the world we created live at Wembley. Much bless ❤❤
It's so perfect that at the end of the song someone throws roses at the stage.
Freddie Mercury - the greatest front man ever ........... and for many, Brian May the greatest guitarist. Two great sounds brought together.
Her reactions, if sincere, are priceless.
I just found your channel. You are literally the cutest! I love your reactions.
Aww, thank you so much!🥰
Beautiful Mo beautiful reaction
Thanks sis😍
Kaboom! That's the magic of Queen!
Supreme...Queen brings back memories!!
Next you should watch Queen at Live Aid it is one of the live performances of all time!!
Good call, Joshua!
The greatest singer to grace this earth :)
Correct!
That performance was in my country, Argentina, in 1981 in Velez Sarfield stadium. I'm still got the tickets. 3 night's of pure Queen!.
A great song With his great voice is the most beautiful Thing i never hear.
Anyone going to tell her that this isn't the best version of this song? She NEEDS to SEE the Official music video.
You are correct. But when you can play this good in a live performance ???
Exactly!!
I agree!!
hard to say wich is the best. Studio is studio, but you could really say you heard queen play if you have'nt heard them live?
I left that same message. It’s visual and audio perfection.
I always liked Queen especially their drummer Roger Taylor. Good choice 👍🏼
Thank you😍
R.I.P Freddie Mercury The best Voice!! 💙🙏🏾👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Just seeing the joy on your face says it all.
You are such a beautiful lady and your reaction was precious ❤️
Yes girl🥰🥰🥰 we here for it
Thanks babe😊
Age doesnt matters. Its perfect ❤
As much as I miss Queen it makes my heart sing that you and future generations keep their memories alive ❤ god bless you
Hi mo happy Friday from New York 💞💝🌹🌷 queen rocks I miss freddy RIP FREDDY
I found your channel a few days ago after looking for reactions to the Righteous Brothers. Love your reaction here. If you haven't already, please react to Queen's song "Radio Gaga" when they performed it at Live Aid. React to all of their performances from Live Aid if you can. The whole thing is on CZcams. God bless!
Thank you!😊
Great song... and the most beautiful smile in universe..
Who wants to live forever by Queen should be next
I would have loved to see them live!
saw them live many times in the 70s and early 80's usually at MSG. Most incredible live band ever!
Another song that will last and stand for all eternity. 👍
You reaction in perfect. Freddie touched everyone. Thank you
Freddie Mercury is from Zanzibar now Tanzania. His parents are from India. His birth name is Farrokh Bulsara
He's Parsi-Indian meaning he's from Persia actually.
@@kristijanEX He's from Indian. So are his parents. Theyve been there for hundreds of years apparently. Ethnically Persian but his mam looks quite Indian
@@jdivision79 still, it's documented and apparently his family is proud of their Parsi origin. If anything Freddy looks more Persian than Indian to me.
@@kristijanEX I agree. His dad looks very Persian
