Andreja is best because she actually brings you money, not some alien flower or bean stalk.

There's also Jessamine, recruited in the bar at the Key. Must be recruited before completing the Crimson Fleet questline (if you're doing it for SysDef, otherwise she'll still be there when it's over.). Also, Matthis is an available companion if the Crimson Fleet questline is completed by siding against SysDef.
Wasn't sure I was going to like the adoring fan, but he has been good for my self esteem rofl. It is nice coming aboard the ship and feeling loved lol.
Adoring fan is easily the best companion if all you care about is gameplay. He wont complain when you steal or kill and wont butt himself into your conversations like Sarah does. Also adoring fan is OP if you give him an advanced bridger and a suit with +40 carry capacity. Thank me later sarah simps
I don't suppose you know where the adoring fan goes if one declines to recruit him at first like i did? I didn't have the space on my ship at the time but now i do. Problem is i don't know where he went.
@@zackfair6791 that i dont know.... he was my first follower (aside from vasco from first story mission) but as soon as I arrived in new atlantis he approached me and ive kept him with me since
I found him sitting at a table in the terrabrew cafe at New Atlantis's spaceport.

I really hate the four we have to choose from.. you should be able to romance ALL the companions in the game.

there are quite a few more, both in other bars on other planets and those that appear during different quests
Simone you know as well as I do that Phil Hill is not a companionable character (though we can but dream).
You can have multiple followers by stealing them during missions. Emma Wilcox will follow you during Deputized (Akila Rangers questline), and Dr. Walker will follow you during Delivering Devils (New Atlantis UC questline). If you never go to the next marker, they'll just stay with you forever (although you can't give them weapons and they don't have infinite ammo like real companions)

I had found a crew member in the Red Mile, like LITERALLY right before I left to start running she was just sitting there

You missed Major Hadrian Sanon. You xan recruit her the first time you get the repeatable quest "Apex Predator" from Doctor Percival Walker at the THD (Terrormorph Hunt Division) on Mars.
There's a guy named Raphael you can save from a time anomaly and you recruit him at the viewport in Atlantis after he recuperated from the ordeal
There is an optional named hirable one at the bar in the key.
And another one in the VIP section of a downside bar in Neon (hte one I had to pay 5000 credits to enter during a quest).
There are probably more.

@@User9mill None of them do. If you talk to the named ones and ask about their backstory, they will claim to not want to pirate (some of them at least), but they do not have a loyalty system like the Constellation companions. They will also not date you.
Their hiring fee is also a one-time payment like in other Bethesda games.

I wish they went out a little more on the nerd abilities , they really missed the hit by not giving us stuff like the “Four eyes” trait for wearing glasses . An asthmatic trait would have been dope , like yu have to use penicillin X alot & it provides an added bonus effect but also when yu dont have it . They had alcoholic traits & all that , they left rhatcout kinda ..

One in the middle looks like a young Todd Howard
Sarah is only used as a companion because she is so essential in the main story. She is annoying to have as a companion, you pretty much have to play only as a goody two shoes and can't commit any mischief.
I was wondering why I only have like 2 available companions even though I’ve played a weeks worth of the game and that’s because I’ve only completed like 4 main missions
There is a bounty hunter lady named Betty Howser that you can recruit. She is at the "distress call" icon in the Heinlein star system.

You can also get Amelia Earhart as a companion. She is in the Charybdis star system, and on the planet Charybdis 3. You have to complete the quest in the town she is in before you can recruit her. Also i think you need the persuasion skill.
So every non constellation companions have no affinity levels?

@@Poke-ladd well you can say she is more of a smuggler but they did not mention her. I don’t want to say her name but you will fine her sitting at one of the tables in the bar after that mission on the planet below

Just my opinion but Barret WAS the best companion, Sarah hates everything you do, Sam Coe yammers on about nothing and his daughter is annoying, Andreja is one of the best to travel with and romance, Marika is a killing machine if you are going into a fight and the Adoring Fan is amusing to have on your crew but not great to travel with. Hope that gives you some insight.

Only thing I think they should change in the next update is that you can’t give/equip gear to crew members. It’s probably one of the main things the annoys me
you can definitely do that....I equipped VASCO with a knife and watched him go on melee rampages.

Stripped away pretty much 99% of fantasy and actual setting from their game and exposed themselves as horrible writers. Well it’s been known they’re bad. But I didn’t expect it to be this bad

Anybody wanting to romance a Droid even in a video game needs their head examined. This is what's wrong with this country and world. Even using video games to do extremely unethical and unacceptable Behavior still bleeds over into the real world.
