Starts off like your average Crooner { almost...} and then unleashes the Rolls Royce @ full horsepower. Every breath, every note under exquisite and funely nuanced control. People rave aboiut his huge vocal range, and, YES, it's extraordinary, but THIS is why he's the best of the best.

This was a favorite song for me for over 24 years; but when I heard DIMASH do it; it was amazing , he took it to a whole different level for me.
👉 What a beautiful interpretation of this song by Dimash. I love watching the faces of the vbloggers when after the heartbeats, the incredulous or ecstatic faces suddenly spread a big smile and turn into happy faces.
When Dimash performs at the Kremlin, he says he doesn't need ear-ins because the acoustics there are so excellent. (There are other videos that confirm this)
Maestro Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash presented the song first on Alla Pugachova's 70th birthday on April 2019. She is a famous singer in Russia. The event took place in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
Maestro Krutoy composed this song 28 years ago for Alla Pugacheva. Valerya Gorbacheva wrote the beautiful words. Now Igor and Dimash have refreshed the song and Dimash made it his song, incomparably beautiful. The interpretation is completely different from the original. I melt away every time I hear the song.
* Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'.

Hey, guys--the word you are looking for in the opening comments is not RANGE, but TONE. He not only sings in a broad range (high bass to high soprano), but he intermixes musical tones like no one else. Tone is the quality, type and duration of the musical notes themselves. Another very enjoyable reaction. I have watched this performance countless times over the past years, and I am still profoundly moved each time. This will always be one of my favorite Dimash performances. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva and modified it for Dimash to sing for this concert given in honor of Mrs. Pugacheva on April 8, 2019, in Moscow.
As many already know, Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose masterpieces for Dimash after watching his performance of Sinful Passion in 2018. He is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the vocal limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform.
Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections:
In the first and longest, Dimash addresses the audience, describing his dream-like love.
In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him.
In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

Igor Krutoy, who is at the piano, wrote this music the year that Dimash was born. When ever you see Igor at the piano, you know that he wrote the music. Igor came out of retirement to write and rewrite his music for Dimash. It has been a magical duo. Love from Canada.

Dimash has substance. He's like a woven fabric of the finest thread. He reads and studies and has experienced an enriched life and environment. He is like a beautiful garden that was fed fine nutrients and tended with care. He's young and wants to explore new things while he is young. But put him in a suit and he can sung with Placido Domingo. People try and compete with him...and do well...but they are not the stuff Dimash is. His range of scope I have yet to see any other artist do. Alive or dead.
However...he requires a certain listener and they need to be more lik him. More cultured and experienced. Thats ok. Everybody ages and eventually takes to a different pace. Even rappers. Many of which like Dimash and appreciate his vocal skills as well as enjoy the music. Its great the way Dimash has effected changes genres and culture.

This is one of my favourite tracks by Dimash so far. I've watched many reactions to this performance by now, and I note how virtually ALL viewers crack into a smile at the release / relief Dimash brings with the belting at the end.

You are right, he made the song his own. I believe he does that to every song he sings. He makes each one into his own creation. I heard him say in an interview once that if he didn't feel a song in his heart, he couldn't sing it.

I'm so glad you decided to watch this epic performance! I can hardly imagine what it felt like to be in the audience. Like Dr. Meyler, this is my favorite live performance.
Another masterpiece of performance is both the official short film, and the live performance at Almaty of "The Story of One Sky.' The song itself is quite something, and the short film version is truly an allegorical masterpiece. It tells a story of three childhood friends who as adults live in a turbulent time, possibly brought about by the choice one of them makes as kids about who to bestow with affection. That's the spoiler-free version. Let's just say a lot happens.
I will offer a couple of spoiler-free clues to help you follow the narrative.
1) The piece of wedge-shaped metal on some necklaces you will see is the gnomon of a nautical sundial/compass. It has a hole to let light shine through, unlike the gnomon on a regular sundial. It's there to allow the compass to work, to give direction. Two people will wear their charms. One will not, but instead damage/bend it in their fist. Later you will see a version of it again - but without a hole, one that cannot let light through.
2) Dimash's character is the shorter boy at the start.
That's all I will say! I hope you watch it, and then a live version, just to prove that he really can sing that whole song live as beautifully as the recorded version. You think he got low here? He can go lower...

Dimash turns 30 on May 24, 2024. Dimash does not have blood running through his veins, musical notes have flowed through him since he was born. The genes of their parents and their siblings were also passed on to them. 😊. At the age of 5, Dimash's grandmother took him to piano and singing lessons. Hello, as we all know your dears, Dimash is exceptional and the best male vocalist on the planet. Dimash was born among music. I had been listening to music since before I was born. His parents are very famous singers in their country, his mother is a soprano. It is in his genes because his grandmother was a singer when he was young, his parents are both very famous singers in their country. His father sings normal, and writes song lyrics and is a producer.
Now he is his son's manager and everything he has done so far, concerts, his music videos, etc. The family has its own production company, they are independent, called Dimashali. That is why many people do not know it because they do not have a large production company in the music industry that advertises it, plays it on all the global stations, platforms, etc. China was the hit and the word of mouth, the CZcamsrs reactors. Now everyone would know him and for me, he already became one of the greats, a Legend...
His mother is a soprano, she sings very well and they usually go out as a duet.
They both know how to play the piano and the mother even knows how to play the accordion.
