This is our second Dimash reaction. For the first one, our producer sent us his song and we had never heard of him. We have since gone down the Dimash rabbit hole. Wow have we learned a lot about him and also about music! We saved this one so we could react to it for the first time with you. What other Dimash songs would be good to react to? As an aside, is there anyone else in the world today that can sing the range and clarity that Dimash does? If so, we would love to check them out.
Dimash’s fans (dears) number around 2 billion worldwide. They cross nationalities, cultures, religions, sexes, ages. I’m not sure why his voice holds such power. I KNOW how good it is, but the hold he has over his fans seems almost supernatural. I know. I’ve been hooked since last May. It’s unusual for me. I like music, but am not particularly into it, am not a musician, am a senior citizen who, while certainly appreciating Dimash’s beauty, am not a crushed up fan girl. I can’t explain it. I’m a retired 66 year grandmother teacher from rural Alabama USA, yet I am more of a fan of Dimash than when I was a rockin’ 70s teenager with mad crushes on the teen idols of the day.
We have also become very fascinated by Dimash. We have only now started down the Rabbit Hole of Dimash but it’s easy to see how special he is. We are very grateful for the chance to explore his performances.
I honestly believe it's because who he is as a person and the bond he has with his fans. He's very real and grounded but always very grateful to his Dears. He gives so much back and he teaches us by example to do the same. Also he has a personal charisma that I feel was only matched by the real great artists like Elvis and Prince and Freddie Mercury. When you see Dimash anywhere with other people, your eye is instantly drawn to him, there's a presence about him that screams he's the most important person there even though he's so humble and self deprecating. Even when he tried to make himself practically invisible at the football match with his president, hiding behind his cap and glasses he still stood out as a force to be reckoned with.
Same here.. I’m living in Germany and am over 50. The CZcams algorithm brought him in my life in March 2023 (for once the algorithm did something good for me 😅) and I‘ve not been a day without his music since. Can’t explain it, he speaks to my soul. I still get goosebumps after listening to pretty much all his songs for many times. He is a phenomenon and I hope more people in the Western countries get to know him.

Dimash sings all genres, and he calls it Neo-Classical. It really is a category that no one else on earth covers, especially because he puts so much emotion of body mind and spirit into it all. You are guaranteed to enjoy this whole trip on the Dimash express. The scenery is never the same.
Dimash is THE best singer; EVER. I’m a Boomer and have heard it all; even before the Beatles came on to the scene. There has NEVER been a performer, singer, vocalist that can do what he does. Beyond his musical ability; it’s a blessing that he’s also a perfect role model. His parents and whole family must be very proud. Barely anyone knew about Kazakstan and its culture.
The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Such an amazing song & performance. This is taken from his Digital Show, all recorded live, to replace cancelled shows during the Covid lockdowns. It gave his fans their live concert plus he donated a large part of the monies to the Covid cause. The whole Digital Show is just amazing & he goes from operatic to pop songs, to his Kazakh folk songs that are just brilliant. He truly is a once-in-a-lifetime artist. He has studied music since aged 5, has 2 Degrees, with honours & also a Doctorate in composition too. He doesn't take his voice for granted, rehearses every day & still sees his teachers when he can. It was for the European Games a few years ago. This particular performance was from his Digital Concert put on during the pandemic. Please do explore more of Dimash. SOS from the Slavic Bazaar is a favorite. His catalog is vast and varied, so anything you choose will be amazing.

Such an amazing song & performance. This is taken from his Digital Show, all recorded live, to replace cancelled shows during the Covid lockdowns. It gave his fans their live concert plus he donated a large part of the monies to the Covid cause. The whole Digital Show is just amazing & he goes from operatic to pop songs, to his Kazakh folk songs that are just brilliant. He truly is a once-in-a-lifetime artist.
He has studied music since aged 5, has 2 Degrees, with honours & also a Doctorate in composition too. He doesn't take his voice for granted, rehearses every day & still sees his teachers when he can.

Thank you for your reaction. This song was written for Dimash by Igor Krutoy, a famous composer and producer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. It was for the European Games a few years ago. This particular performance was from his Digital Concert put on during the pandemic. Please do explore more of Dimash. SOS from the Slavic Bazaar is a favorite. His catalog is vast and varied, so anything you choose will be amazing.

Was für eine schöne , kompetente Reaktion. In all den Jahren , seit ich Dimash höre , habe ich noch nie eine Enttäuschung erlebt. Er ist so unfassbar vielseitig - er rappt, singt Oper, Folk, Funky, Rock, Pop und und und. Und er ist ein unglaublich bescheidener Mensch, von dem sich so mancher was abschauen kann. Ich wäre gern in Budapest oder an seinem 30. Geburtstag am 24. Mai in Istanbul dabei, aber das geht aus beruflichen Gründen nicht.

As well as the singer's collaboration with the Russian composer Igor Krutoy, who wrote a number of works specifically for him: "Stranger", "Ave Maria" (New Wave, Sochi 2021); including "Olimpico", "Know", "Mademoiselle Hyde" and others. I’ve been listening to Dimash since 2017 when I first saw him in a US singing competition called the World’s Best. Since then he’s spoiled me for other singers . Maybe some people says "Idon"t like Dimash" because they don"t like the song... He is so eclectic! He sing very different styles in different languages and no one, really, has his voice and acting or presence on stage... He is a showman and a storyteller too. And multistrumentist, and composer, and producer, and model ... and an excellent human being... fiuuu!! He can sing opera, pop, folk, ballades, rock, metal (if he wants to!)
