@25:06 I think I see myself 😊 Stoked to see you clean Wasteland access @11:38, my riding buddies you said hello to @25:09 were responsible for patching that part - always awesome to ride through without dabbing. This is the camera review I was waiting for, X4 doesn’t seem to do well enough in low light (eg typical day in tropical rainforest under tree cover) as with all other current gen action cams. Was this recorded in 8K? Btw, wrong bike in title 😅
Haha thanks for spotting the mistake! I didn’t see you though. And thank you so much for patching up that slope. It was getting really rutted previously. The X4 performed really well, but thanks to our dark forest, I’m surprised that the footage still turned out pretty good. Most people can’t imagine how dark it gets inside until they really see it. The action cam does a good job hiding the fact that it’s almost pitch black 🤣
@@SeanTalksMTBno worries man, I was sitting on the rock resting when I heard you guys bombing down and had to move my ass 😅 I didn’t see you too and only realised that you were riding the same day when I spotted the Fakawi Banshee jersey at the end of IUD DH
@@SeanTalksMTBI have seen some CZcamsrs like VanCan mount the X4 on their helmet (like a unicorn’s horn where you can see the shadow thereof @4:55 of his X4 review) which makes for a very interesting POV imho. Seems like the DJI Osmo Action 4 is still the one to beat for MTB in low light conditions
This is also possible with Apple Watch and Garmin devices (through Stats dashboard and available in the app only for now) besides the GPS remote - many XC type MTB channels do this, it would be a nice touch to see your heart rate data when you climb Salmon Run/Upper Short@Lookout 🤣 The data overlay feature is discussed in the China Cycling channel
The one in the middle is my Garmin bike computer. For my HR and stuff. The other one is the Insta360 GPS remote that I’m testing for the X4. I usually just have the bike computer in the middle 😄
@@SeanTalksMTB pretty sweet setup for the garmin. My bike computer looks so big that seems like a freaking TV. All that only to see my wats or cadence. I regret not getting that sleek garmin even though it’s insanely expensive
Yea I like the smaller ones and it’s one of the best investments so far. I connect it to my axs to see my gearing. Connect my HR from my Apple Watch and speed cadence on my ebike. All my info on the screen.
Nice Video!...
Thanks bro!
hello again! Me and my friends will be going to Kiara on Sunday May 19 coming from Singapore! lol
Nice one! I hope you have a great ride there. Ride every trail yeah 💪🏽 haha
@@SeanTalksMTB If you happen to see me. I am riding Forbidden Dreadnought with bananas stickers on it. LOL
Awesome vid. Is that… the infamous headset creak?
Haha thanks! Yes! Time to get it out to clean 🧼

@@wsrajahI think CZcams jz processed the X4 footage with HDR. try it again and see if the footage is any better? Haha
Speed readings are wrong. Are you getting them via garmin connect or gps remote?
Bro how do you put the speedometer, distance, slope degree etc all that stuff. Also can do on insta360 x3?
Hey bro. Yes can. But you need to get the GPS Remote from Insta360. Then when editing, just enable “Stats” and everything else is automatic
@@SeanTalksMTB i see. Thanks for the info man ☺️

@@wsrajah I’ll try it with my Garmin next time. But according to Strava, my max HR after climbing Salmon Run was 177bpm 😵💫
2 screens! For what?
