I wonder if you could play DOOM on this calculator like the other TI calculators. I think it should be possible. The fact video games are even playable on a calculator is literally incredible. This is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen.
You can, and it was on the Ti84 but since that has an old OS it cannot be played on the CE. A few years ago someone posted about recreating for the CE but there hasn't been any recent updates ://////
I was bummed when I saw that CE development stop. I was hoping for it!

to those who dont know how to check your software version, you press 2nd( blue) and look for mem ( im my case above plus) the click on 1:about
What app did you use to open the operator? My computer is asking me to find one in the microsoft store but I can't find one.

-edit gba games dont work, but game boy color games do work but everything is in a green scale
Great video, one question. Once you download everything onto the calculator, will you still be able to use the normal functions that the calculator was originally meant to or will it only be able to run the games?
It will be able to be used as normal

No you don't have to. It takes up mininum storage.
My ti 84 plus de python edition 5.6 version is nit showing up on the ti connect ci program what do i do
to get other games on that website do you have to go through the whole process again, or is there a shortcut because you already have the artifice and stuff.
You only need to download the games now.

What’s the limit on the amount of games you can have?
Depends on your storage. Archive files for more storage in the memory page.

For some reason on my chromebook cesium comes up as cesium.8xp and just won't be downloaded onto my calculator. Everything else will load onto the calculator tho.
Cesium is incompatible with Chromebooks use a MacBook or windows
so do i need cesium cause i already artifice and mario on my calculator and i didnt need cesium for that
Cesium is optional. It's just a better UI

Yeah in the ti connect you can go to the list of files and delete all the ones with for example pokemon1, pokemon2 etc and delete them

Press 2nd, +, 7, 1. This worked for me although I only needed 3000 more bytes.

isn't it easier to download the ti-84 bundle instead of the zip file at the rom converting so you only need to send one file for the rom
You're not wrong! There's several correct ways to get games.

I believe you can download a bunch of free emulators off the of the chrome web store thing. Then you can just download a file for any game that the emulator supports and run it
I have no clue if that’s possible! You can follow the video, and save the files to the google drive instead of the computer… Did you at least find ti-connect CE for chromebook?
