Greetings from America I'm 57 and I've enjoyed LOTSW on my local PBS channel and on CZcams for 25 + years.
I've always thought 2-3 old men going out every day to see what they could get into as the funniest premise ever
for a program. The older I get the more I can identify with LOTSW the single greatest TV program in history.

My congratulations to you on your Last of the summer wine videos, I can see how much work it must have taken to research and produce them. This show has been a huge part of my life over many many years, and I have so many of them taped from telly on video and bought on dvd. I'm really enjoying your series of dedicated videos and you've given me a real yen to visit Holmfirth again. A great video Leigh, LOTSW is and always has been my favourite TV Comedy, I watch at least one episode every day. I was 20 when it started and I have seen every episode several times. One additional point of possible interest, regarding the inclusion of local places, characters, etc., is the appearance of Ashley Jackson, a local artist, in the episode "Loxley Lozenge" . It was a real pity it was cancelled, just when Hobo was getting into his stride, I'm sure it could had gone on for many more enjoyable episodes...

"Trivia: Series 16 to 20" popped up in my YT home feed this evening, looked intriguing, a series of info about LotSW. Here I am watching the first of your "Decanted" playlist. I've enjoyed LotSW for about 25 years from southwestern Pennsylvania, USA, thanks to a local PBS station, and I'm now about the same age as the original trio was at the beginning of the series 50 years ago (I'm 56½). I'm looking forward to watching your videos over the next - um, well, no scheduled plan; probably a few/several each week. I really love watching the last of summer wine. With Bill Owen and his son Tom that appeared in the seares after Bill his dad passed away. I've seen were he his buered and next to him is his dear friend Norman Clegg. Norah Beatty, and her stockings. Then Martina and her cycling with their other friend to meet up after she had finished her work in the supermarket.
Meany years ago I went on a coach trip with my friend who I work with in my early days of working for Tesco in Stratford upon Avon. Back in 1981 until. 2012. What I retired. To look after my mum in West Bromwich. Till I moved her to a nursing home in Stratford upon Avon opposite the theatre. She selebrated her 80 th birthday. Then passed away the following year the day after mothering Sunday. When I became very dipressed again. Because my Dad passed away on his birthday in 1971. They had been married for 25 years. But in 1976 some friends who she worked with in Halloween. With my Dad. My stepdad was a lorry driver.min Oldbury. Told me you can earn more in a wage , than your mum can. So I found a little job in carter's green west Bromwich. Until I moved to work in Mark's and Spencers in the town. And then they close to move to Merry hill. ?!! Hense I moved to Yardley for worked in Sheldon for a nice man that had a drawing office opposite the old Airport terminal. Next to a paper shop and a cleaning ferm, plus a fish and chips shop. So this programme use to make me happy and feel better with myself. Until I meet a lovely man who was a farmer and gardener. And we were together for 25 years in Henley in Arden. Then I lost my mum, and I walked out. Because of my depression again. Have been on my own and were I live now for 14 or 15 years. I am very happy now I don't need anyone to live with me. IAM looking for a small part time job again. To help keep the bank sweet. And the wolf from the door has they say. Like a good number of people me age and older. The way things have been since COVID. And lockdowns. You just need to get of your backside and get on with LIFE. Xxxx❤❤❤❤ love you all lots my son. My granddaughter.,her mum's family from her first marriage. That t have not seen in years because they all work for the queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham. Apart from the one who lives in London with him family and works down there. The only other family I had are two wonderful cousins in Lincoln that I visited on Friday and came back home last night. After a wonderful time with them both, and a carvery meal they took me for after my one cousin finished work cleaning for the railway station in Lincoln. ❤❤❤❤
