you really need a degree chart on the crank shaft to find TRUE top dead center....thier is about 5 degrees of rotation that the piston wont move a noticeable amount. this leads to being +/- 5 degrees on your ignition, or in this case, valve timing.
my seadoo sp 96 have a problem . any body can help me please: I have no seadoo service next to my place. off whater work perfect. but in wather even start. all ready change carb kit ,line fuel,check valve rotary,belt is ok,high and low is ok,fuse box brand new,please help me if you know the solution... tks
i dont know if i was able to extract english from that....but it sounds like you have a blown head gasket....this lets cooling water into the cylinders. stick it in the water...and crank the engine over. then pull the spark plugs.....they should be wet with gas...not water.
Just remember people leave it to the professionals if you don't know what you doing please do not get in there all it's going to do is cost you more money I have to deal with this bullshit everyday whether it's on a PWC and ATV or dirtbike if you don't know what you're doing do not touch it don't look at CZcams how do you know the person that you're watching isn't a complete jackass

I eliminate the oil pump. I mix the oil with gas on the fuel tank (50:1). So how the rotary valve get lubricate now with out the oil pump?
The oil/air/fuel mixture will help lubricate the rotary valve when it passes by.
You line up the open side with the 147 degree mark. If it doesn't line up, flip it over. (Look up pictures on google, or watch another Video).
So if that thing has a gear to time it, what's the point of doing that? Performance porting?
It did not show how to adjust the valve. It gets right to point of adjustment but it never shows how.
