- This video sight the different nasty sounds, their causes and possible solutions with our Yamaha Sniper 150 motorcycle. This might also be helpful to other names like Yamaha Y15ZR, Yamaha Exciter 150, Yamaha Jupiter 150 and Yamaha Sniper 135 or Yamaha LC 135.
DISCLAIMER: The information shared on this video is merely based on my personal experience being an owner of the motorcycle for a year. The comparison between Yamaha and Honda in this video is merely a product of my own humor. I agree that Yamaha has some flaws on their products and services, so as Honda and other brands. Hello - I have a 2023 Yamaha X-max 300 and I have noticed a 'metallic grinding' noise at around 3800 - 4000 RPM. Yamaha have replaced the Bell house in the Clutch carrier but the noise can still be heard after the part replacement. Any ideas what might be causing this?

What about engine noise when I am on 3rd gear. It's as if the chain lags a while before engaging wuth the drive train I suppose if I am right. Anyway on 3rd gear as I rev up from an idle state to running state there is that ' tuk ' sound. I am not sure if it is from the engine or drive train. Yamaha sight user here. 2 weeks old

There is a strange metel rining sound coming from my r15 v2 while riding and when I reaching 5k rpm.. It's like a metel rining around somewere.. I can't find it.. It will last for a second and vanish... Please help

I have a sort of tok tok noise but very unusual (fz6r). Only happens when hot >95°C and only while engine is deccelerating from 2500 to 1500 RPM, in gear or even at a full stop

Hello from malaysia..we have the same problems here too..for the front fork spring that replace with honda dream..is it the 100cc or the new 110cc dream? And also there are need some modification for installing the spring? Is it need to replace the spring only or replace all of the internal fork parts? Thanks for making the video in english and easy for me to watch it. Hope you will make more video in english and gain subscribers from another country.

Hey I really need some help. I have a 2020 crf250r everytime I let off the throttle I get this friction skimming sound like something is spinning and rubbing against something. It goes away immediately when I pull in the clutch. And when I try to recreate the sound when i put it on a stand with no load the sound isn't really there. You kind of hear a noise but it's way more quiet and might be something else even or normal. But when I ride the noise is there. It's the only video on my channel if you want to hear the noise. I'm guessing like a countershaft bearing possibly?
There are many possible causes. Countershaft bearing could be one, or a rubber clutch damper issue, which is very common on some Honda TMX bikes, or a loose tappet, or worn clutch linings/plates. It's really hard to guess. I suggest have it checked by an experienced mechanic.
paps, i have a 2019 sniper obtain last July. today while riding it, suddenly the light which indicates check engine appeared. it's jut new. why do yo think it went that way?
Pa check mo lng sa mekaniko gamitan niyo muna ng scanner madaling makita kung ano problema. May nadedetect ang sensor nyan.

how about the noise sounding like helicopter tsug tsug tsug when running xrm125 , upon shifting gear to 1 or 2 , pulling the throtle ,the sounds starts to make a noise and feels the engine hard to run, u need to add more gas and add so that it will run but so slow,, the response and running condition bad?
not same on stock that when u pull the throtle , immediately your motorcycle goes forward responsively .

Yung lagitik ba na sinasabi nyo paps yung parang tunog ng chain na parang may sumasabit or something? Kasi naririnig ko na yan sa motor ko ngayon e, worried ako, parang sa chain ata? Nilinis ko nman at nilagyan ng lube ganun parin e. Kaya nalilito ako kung d ma maayos pagkalinis ko o sadyang sa tensioner na kaya? Nakakairita na kasi pakinggan kasi rinig na rinig habang nag rerev ka sa throttle e.

Yes, thats true, my new jupiter mx 135 coil, clutch plate and clutch spring swap to honda parts (want to buy yz125 or rm80 coil too expensive here).
