    Hey folks...Aaron Fisher here. Thanks for watching!
    In case you don’t know me, here’s the short version:
    I’ve been performing and creating magic for over 20 years. Some people would say I’m widely considered one of the world’s top sleight-of-hand artists, but I’d never be so bold ;)
    I’ve been fortunate enough to perform for Fortune 500 CEOs and some of Hollywood’s favorite stars all over the world, with buddies like Lee Asher, Nathan Kranzo and Adam ‘Amazing’ Grace.
    But between my hit book ‘The Paper Engine’ and my coaching programs and communities, my No.1 goal has always been to help fellow magicians discover and develop their own unique approach to creating incredible magic.
    This CZcams channel is just ONE of the ways me and my team are trying to ‘give back’ to the incredible magic community. You can enjoy more of my magic here:

    I am aware that this video is a few years old now, but as we think 'magic is timeless'. This as well can be said for these awesome routines which are mindblowing skill.
    Thank you so much for showing this selection and granting a better understanding what this is all about, and how versitale this routine really is.
    I got interested in magic as an 'older' woman and just understood the very basic of cups and balls today and am really fascinated to get my skills to another level. : )
    So thank you for all the names, books and videopresentation and talks. Pure gold for one who's willing to learn : )

    That is AWESOME that Alex was there when Tommy Wonder performed that! (Love, love LOVE Tommy Wonder! His ambitious card & deja reverse are go-to effects for me! Except I finish with David Regal’s Clarity Box)

    This was interesting to watch. I am familiar with all of these routines having seen them multiple times. I didn’t expect to see René Levand’s “Three Breadcrumbs” routine categorized as a cup and ball routine. I tend to think of it as a “two in the hand one in the pocket” routine. However given Mr. Levand’s obvious inability to perform an effect with two hands he brilliantly changed a literal handicap into what could arguably be called a signature routine. I also regard magic effects in which the performer seems unable to control his props during the course of magical effects as “perverse magic“. I feel this takes great skill as an actor. Tommy Wonder’s early training as an actor in a theater school in Holland served him well. I would also regard Fred Kaps as a magician with great acting skills. Watching him perform “The Homing Card“ convinced me of that many years ago.

    Thank you for this session. I truly enjoyed the Tommy Wonder routine which totally amazed me for I had never seen him perform Now about the final loads I was expecting you to a least mention Johnny Ace Palmer with his finish of producing 3 live baby chicks. What are you thoughts on that?

    John Mendoza was the only one I've ever seen to combine cups and balls with a chop cup. It brought a whole new element to this trick. Wonder why more haven't utilized that.

    lifetime magic student here, interesting you mention the story ending with the different stuff (potato, apples, lemons etc). At first I thought it was a little weird because Ive seen the ending where its ONE type of fruit or just lemons etc. But when you mentioned how the story will be told to another person "BRUH APPLES. LEMONS WTF IS GOING ON " is so LOL to me and yeah it makes the effect THAT much better haha.

    Johnny Ace Palmer routine one of the best final loads

    • @metaxas115
      @metaxas115 Před rokem

      Using chicks as a final load like Johnny ace Palmer is cruel that no one should be singled out for it. It is animal cruelty that should no longer be demonstrated anywhere. The chicks often have broken legs, are disposed of after a few days because they grow too big. It is cruel! One can have different opinions about magic with animals, but the production of chicks is just disgusting!

    You can't pretend that nobody else can emulate the Tommy Wonder routine given a fair amount of practice. That is sheet magician's snobbery.
