Been working on this routine since October 2016. Primary closer since early 2017. It's earned me the title "'heir apparent' to Cellini ['The King of the Streets']" - Eric Evans 2021.

one of the best cups and balls routines I have ever seen ... outstanding work!
He’s so like able
Love this! Thanks again for visiting our Ring!
The only magic trick I truly love - all other tricks are nice, but the cups and balls are The most beautiful dance of slight of hand
That's a great way to put it! Obviously, I'm a fan of the routine as well
You are my new favorite performer to watch. You made me forget about moves and sleights and just make me enjoy it. You have flawless timing and misdirection. Well done, Makoto. Thanks for doing great magic.
Well done👏🏼🎉💯
Thanks man👍
Really good magic !!!!
I appreciate the support! 🤙
Very nice young man it is good to see a younger gentleman performing a classic type routine and not just parroting Gazzo...
I tried Gazzo's but couldn't nail the accent, so had to make my own.
This looks like real magic
Too Smooth..Too Dang Smooth! Great job Makoto!
Andy Truong Thanks!

That was great brother! Cellini would have been proud. I liked how you load your loads. Very smooth and very Cellini style. Nihongo hanashimasu ka?
Loved this routine, well built and customized ahah! May I ask where did you find the pouch?? O.O
Thanks. I made it.
That third ball vanished blew my mind. I think it’s in Aldo Colombini move
Thanks, good to know. I learned it as Daryl's
I’m almost sure it’s aldos but I have to check.
Great Performance!!!
What Cup set are you using?
Thank you. Phoenix Cups from Tom Frank's Industrial Strength Magic
Thanks For the Info
Say what? This mofo is a real wizard!
omg are those tom frank cups? they sound just like mine!
Yup! Good ear. Love their durability, weight, and look
The Bartelemeo Bosco sequence is right up there with Ricky Jay in terms of cleanliness of execution and precision. i'm not any kind of sleight of hand person but i love this routine and have watched many many videos of this routine including those of the great masters like Ricky Jay, Michael Vincent etc. It seems to me that the Bosco portion might be the toughest portion to bring off believably ... because i think it requires the Magician to keep things really simple and straightforward with regard to the hand motions. Too much hand or wand movement takes away from the effect of the performance because we all know it's sleight of hand and often some of us have googled it out of sheer curiosity. So too many hand/wand movements just creates too much suspicion in the mind and takes it away from the realm of magic into the realm of sleight of hand. And the simpler one keeps the hand movement and minimizes wand work to enhance the "magic" feeling to the extent where one just WANTS to forget and ignore the left side of the brain telling You it's sleight of hand ... the higher level of sleight of hand virtuosity is required. You did this part just perfectly. That's the word. Just watched the Magic Castle performance of this and came here to see this routine again. You're right up there (for me) with Hayashi, Michael Vincent, Ricky Jay in this. Even Dai Vernon would have Very Happily Given You a Smile Of Approval. Brilliant work. 👏. Unfortunately the thing with the Cups and Balls Routine is that since the principle is now common knowledge and it's nearly impossible to escape from that, it's a lot of pressure on the Magician to do it so skilfully that even if one knows how it's
happening, it's still impossible to spot anything. i was burning Your hands throughout and just couldn't see it though i saw it repeatedly. Virtuoso Stuff. 👏👏👏. Very Very inspiring. i wish i had never googled this routine or if i could wipe this information from my brain now so i could just go back to naturally enjoying the brilliant hands required to pull off this Routine so perfectly even in the 21st Century Era of CZcams Videos where one can rewind and slow it down and watch it again and again trying to spot slip ups. You were so Good that i just didn't want to do that and Enjoy the Magic. Even if i had done, i wouldn't have spotted a thing. Seriously Wish You the Very Very Best and Lots and Lots of Success Very Very Soon. God Bless You And Your Loved Ones with Everything Good and Joyous Always. God BLESS
Thanks for the supportive and kind comments! A comparison to Ricky Jay and Dai Vernon is very flattering. I'm proud of the variations I've introduced to every phase of the routine, so I'm glad people who have developed an informed taste about certain sequences appreciate my take on them.
i was seriously seriously impressed when after You vanished the second ball in the Bosco routine, You opened Your Right hand (holding the wand) as well. That's brilliant. That must have required some intense hours of practice to get it so smooth, clean and faultless. Honestly can't spot a thing 🙂. Is that uniquely Yours? i haven't seen that before. Maybe Hayashi did that. In any case, kudos. Bringing something new to Cups and Balls is Gold Standard stuff.
Thanks for noticing! I believe the second vanish is mine, but with centuries of practitioners, it's likely someone else had the same idea before.
@@MakotoMagic You're Brilliant at What You do Sir - Please do Keep doing what You do even if it's rough going, as it often must be... it makes many people Happy to watch You at Work and especially in these times, making even a few people genuinely Happy and bringing smiles to peoples faces is a huge blessing. Thank You. God Bless.
