Ballet dancers are really flexible.
Ballet dancers have a very strict diet and eat very healthily 😄🍎

At school there's two assumptions about ballet: it's rainbows and sunshine and super easy, or omg you must be depressed and have the meanest teachers and no time off and you have no life outside of ballet. Its so hard to answer (I'm a ballet dancer)
I think ballet life can be a little like that sometimes. A little bit of a rollercoaster.. but we love it anyhow ❤️🙌🏻
On the concept of teachers: At the point I'm taking ballet classes eith three different teachers. One of them is really strict but i love her class because i know that she is going to tell me severall corections to work on amd i realized that my technice has improved very much. I feel I'm developing the attistry more in my less strict teachers classes, but all together it's the perfect combination for me!

Well, because I had a change of program in my school schedule, I didn't prioritize ballet this year, so I am with an begginer-intermediate group and sometimes I take private lessons (when I have the time). I think the biggest assumption about ballet (from my ballet coleagues) is that is easy to become a ballerina and they all wanna go to a good school and all, but hunny...it doesn't work like that. Like, lf course, work hard and you will get there eventually, but the situation is not that pink 👀😂

I would say yes, if you are making sure you are not hurting yourself. If you choose to teach yourself you are going to make sure you have proper technique and are not hurting yourself. Although I probably would not suggest going on pointe.
