@@gwentheperfectqueen8355 Well, the bounce and the beat is kinda similar, isn't it!? By the way, I'm Norwegian and LOVE this specific entry of ours! Even the pre chorus is similar!
This is the best song of the contest! By far! The rythm is authentically African and totaly unbelievable! Can't believe that the jury missed it!! Ahead of time, probably.
Ella me parece absolutamente fascinante y maravillosa. Por eso, 10 Puntos.
Has any director ever considered making a major motion picture about the 1969 contest? I've thought about it for quite awhile. If casting were tomorrow, Leonora Jepsen would the perfect ESC alumnus to play her. BTW, past winners Lena Meyer-Landrut and Mans Zemerlow would be cast as the Swiss and Swedish contestants, respectively. Anne Marie would play Lulu, Ilse Delange would play Lenny Kuhr, Pastora Soler gets the role of Salome and Frida Boccara would be played by Charlene Blanchette.
OMG I only noticed now that 1969 had so many good soongs, almost all the entries were pottencial winners. Geat song from Norway!
Norway should have been ranked better!
It is one of the best editions ever, actually.
One of the best songs from Norway.
Fun, happy song that was well sung. I like their outfits, too.
Happy, sweet and lovely. 😊🇬🇷
Denne sangen var veldig bra! Hun er utmerket!!
Kristi Sparboe have happy song, her song is like the anthem of Norway
A clear Sandie Shaw and Puppet On A String vibe to this jolly number!
How can you compare Puppet on a String to this amazing song?

I like it, it's a merry song. I know it's not a potential winner, but without doubt it deserved a better position.
another post here on youtube said her zero points was based on Norway's stance on whaling

this is my winner, i find this extremely catchy song
A nice, wonderful song. A true ESC classic.

Wonderful song.
@@Billy219 Thank you for the info. I had no idea that he had died.
She deserved a much higher place.
Yes.

MikeTeaveeJr lol pastora soler as salomé
@@amderolas4032 Pastora Soler would actually be great as Italian entrant Iva Zanicchi.
I would like to see a Eurovision 1956 motion picture where the full results are revealed and Das Alte Karussell wins instead of Refrain.
Like your way of thinking... this might work. Couldn't await the premiere at Cannes.
In Germany, her German-speaking song "Ein Student aus Uppsala" (also from '69) became an Evergreen.
That song is how I got to know Kirsti and Eurovision and it I’m so grateful for it
1969 a Great year in ESC-History!
It shouldn't have been last.
It deserves to be in a much higher place
This is not bad at all. Why was it last?
tusen takk for denne videon hun ser ut som en gresk gudinne =) nydelig stemme
Gresk? 😏
Amazing. Didn't deserve last place. Deserved 3rd place.
Was a much better song than its position deserved.
Nydelig dame!

When I first heard this song I thought the title meant "hey, hey, hey, I'm so glad the sky is blue" 💀😂
Amazing clothes! Where is it preserved?

Oi oi oi oi oi oi ... but hey - it was the 1960s, after all. 🙂
So funny !
This is maybe the third best entry from Norway in the 60s. Their first decade was simply HORRIFYING.
