The surprising part is the fact that it actually sounded good with it's stock system. Finally a guy who did his research inspect his money the right. It will mello out even more in a couple of weeks when the fiberglass breaks in. One thing for sure is this guy won't be back because it sounds bad.
I have a 2018 Nissan Titan, I had a FlowFX cat-back system on it that sounded just like this Stillen system, with all that raspiness that this engine is famous for.
I ended up going with a Borla cat-back system and am super glad I did. The Borla is the perfect system for the Titan cuz it eliminates the raspiness completely, just the deep rumble...and twin rolled tips coming out the back looks awesome also.
Thanks for the info!
Sounds similar to glasspacks, not bad. 30-40HP increase? Not happening!! The owner was stroking you! 🤣 Maybe he did his research under the "influence". lol
Definitely not gaining more than 10😂
Stillen website says 40+ whp 🤷♂️
@Chris Games Too They have to be capping. Literally every exhaust ever can only make you so much hp gains from exhaust alone. Literally 5-10 is the average for everything. Not saying you're wrong but I've never heard of 40hp from an exhaust
@@ChrisGamesToo Do NOT believe everything you read, especially HP claims!
Maybe it can help support 40 horsepower with other mods. Not with just exhaust alone. When I did research on my car the question was asked, how much horsepower are you expecting out of your drivetrain? I was told what parts was needed to help support those types of mods to make that type of horsepower including what type of exhaust. My exhaust system woukd increase horsepower by maybe 9 to 12 tops but can handle an extra 40 if my car was modified to make that extra horsepower there is a big difference. Unfortunately like this guy running this shop they exaggerate how much an exhaust system can do to sell their products.
I love it! Sounds like dads old truck even more from the last titan video!
You're right!
big ole meaty v8 boi
Honestly it was better stock. That stock note is nice. If you could find a way to keep that note but make it louder and smooth it'd be great.
Sounded damn good stock! Almost 100 db stock, that’s crazy.
Stillen is one of the better cat-backs for the Titan....especially when paired with a CAI
Underrated truck, love it!
It sure is!
Replace the the stillen muffler with a quickflow muffler.....do they even still make those??🔺️
30 to 40 hp gain? Was it plugged up with gunk before that? Long tube headers, high flow cats and an exhaust might net you 15 to 20 tops
Sounds really great 💪
What is the stock tailpipe diameter of the Titan? Can someone put it in the comments?
Should have installed a super 44
Sound gives coyote vibes
Sounds like my ass cheeks clappin, I’ll keep my Titan stock exhaust. The note inside with stock exhaust even sounds ten times better
like it
I don't care what research says, there is no possible way you're going to gain 30 to 40 horsepower from just from replacing a Cat-Back system. 🤣🤣
I love to see the BS research data that Stillen used for that claim.
They have a CZcams video on the whole thing. Independent dyno testing would be nice, on the other hand, Stillen has been modifying Nissans for a long time, they are definitely one of the better know and higher reputation companies
No such thing as 40 hp increase by an exhaust
30-40 hp lmfao!! Come on bro, you know damn good and well that shit ain’t true. Maybe 10
I’m trying to find out what exhaust system to do on my 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback someone lmk pls

40 hp with a tune maybe.
Idk what that sound is, it's like a clappy raspy note. A weird sound never the less
