- McHale's Navy Full Episodes: Season 2x23 | "Dear Diary"
Binghamton gets hold of Parker's diary, which includes details of the crew's shady activities. After the guys steal the diary from the Captain's safe, Binghamton sets out to personally escort Parker to the Admiral. But, after falling into enemy hands on the way and being rescued by the 73 crew, Binghamton changes his mind (after some gentle persuasion by McHale). - Krátké a kreslené filmy
OMG Parker and Binghamton are hilarious! This has to be the funniest episode yet! 🤣
This one is one of my alltime fave episodes. Love the interaction between Parker and the Captain. The slapstick in this is priceless. it is sad Joe didn't live past 50 - he would have continued to be a great entertainer for years to come and we would have had a lot more content to watch.
My kind of TV! My kind of comedy! Clean, talented entertainment! Watched this series as a kid in the early 60s, loved it and always will!
The Same Here About "MCHALE'S NAVY ⚓️"!😁😆😅🤣😂😗☺️😚😙🥲😋😛😜🤪😝🤑🤗🤭🥳🥸🤓🧐😺😸😹😼😽
This was one of the funniest episodes of their entire series...
This show holds up so well 55 years later, it's ten times better than anything they make today!
That's thanks to the combined talents of Ernest borgnine Tim Conway and Joe Flynn. And Flynn's foil lieutenant Carpenter I forget that actor's name.
@@the4seasons4ever Bob Hasting's was brilliant as the grovelling Lt Carpenter...a great cast all round,

😂😂😂. Oh god, this is so damn funny! I watched these episodes as a girl! Hilarious! So happy to find them again! I gave up on tv long ago! Truly one of their best!
Great episode and yes of course it's great fun seeing the visual comedy between Joe Flynn and Tim Conway ref things like spilling the coffee on Capt B. twice. They really planned all the slapstick comedy really well in the show.
Wish I had a time machine to go back to the year this episode first aired....:).
HOW GREAT IS PARKER DOING FDR. HE HAD HIM DOWN TO A TEE!!!!
I am in the second attempt to binge watch the entire 4 years of shows. My favorite character is Fuji. Such a great actor, and stage presence. This is the best episode. When the two land on the deck, Binghamton looks like Cousin It with the chute on his head and his glasses on.
Sadly enough I just learned that the actor that played Fuji had passed away back in January 2023 only Willy Moss is still living
@@bartleywalton1888THE SAME HERE THIS YEAR IN 2023😢
This is my all time favorite episode. Used to drive my parents nuts cause I can quote this episode by heart
"I want my mother . Id like to get my hands on her myself" LMAO :D
We forget that the addition of Bob Hastings as Lt. Carpenter in the second episode of season 1 gave Joe Flynn somebody to work off of and Bob Hastings did an excellent job another example of good talent getting the job done.
After Joe Flynn and Tim Conway, Bob was the funniest man on the show. The episode where the crew pretended the war was over provided Carpenter with the opportunity to get drunk and tell Binghamton to get lost, pushing the captain in the drink...so funny.
Conway's little wave in the opening titles is hilarious
"If you're getting any ideas about developing amnesia on the stand, you can forget it!" 😂😂😂
I was just gonna comment on that one. Ha
It just so happened that Bingy's glasses luckily came down from the sky and landed on top of the part of the parachute that was on top of his head. So silly, so funny.
Well, I'll have to admit I laughed loudly at all the interactions between Ensign Parker and Captain Binghamton, especially this episode.
Binghamton, parker and Elroy the Navy's answer to the three stooges!
YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT 😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣😂🙂🙃😉😊😗☺️😚😙🥲😋😛😜🤪😝🤑🤗🤭🥳🥸🤓🧐😺😸😹😼😽
The torpedo in the beginning looks more like a 1,000-pound bomb to me.
Either that or it's what happens when a torpedo and a bomb have a baby! LOL!
This is one of the Funniest ones Yet!!!...
Great physical comedy and lines...
Classic episode.
watching these episodes it surprises me with how many times that captain bington has tried to get Mc hale's crew charged or shot for something this show has quite a lot of good actors in it.
Eliot Reader Binghamton.
That was his goal in the Navy. To bust PT 73.
Everyone knows that Tim Conway was known for his mastery of physical comedy, but I had no ideas just how good actor Joe Flynn was with the same!
I had forgotten that Joe Flynn was that physical in his comedy.
Joe Flynn and Tim Conway made that show funny. Carl Ballentine was great too.
@@Miatacrosser and fuji with his one liners are great
@@kylebarrett28ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS 😂 😅
I could just scream
Laurel and Hardy live. Now I remember why I loved this show as a kid.
" Parker I swear if we don't get out of this alive I'm going to kill you !!".
I died laughing at that line.
@@johnbockelie3899THE SAME HERE 😂😅
Such an exceptionally funny episode, Joe Flynn was in superb form as usual, you can definitely feel his frustrations and the hopelessness of his unending struggle with Parker and the crew (Schlockmisters). I don't believe that anyone would desire to trade places with him for one moment......
@pete smyth Yeah, is that really derogatory slang?
@@upthedownescalator630 it means the master of cheap or inferior goods
This has to be the funniest episode of McHale's Navy I've ever seen. And that is saying something!
After pushing a Japanese airman out the plane's door, Chuck says "We got rid of him." Captain Binghamton replies, "We got rid of him. He was the pilot!"
I remember laughing so hard at this one the first time I saw it
Flynn is Gold
You don't have to worry about the kids being exposed to sex or violence, wholesome entertainment. Not that it matters, but did anyone notice that the crate Binghamton and Parker hid in was initially nailed shut--and yet on the plane later, the crate was later unnailed?
Flynn and Conway working together gets me laughing so hard! Flynn was a genius at portraying the terminally-frustrated borderline-psychotic. This episode was one of his best, imo.
👍🤪 they both were the perfect pair it’s got me in stitches
most of the episodes were very very good..because of great writers and production crew that knew their craft,,it was from the people left over from the movie dept, till they retired or passed on that the standards fell later in years..im still trying to figure out what REALLY happened to joe flynn in 1974 ..i dont buy that story about in the swimming pool ,drowning with a leg cast on and heart attack..what happened to his wife and 2 children..only if one of them came out and talked about their father..they would be in the 50s now
@@simonmovesGood Question 🙋
If I was McHale, Parker would be missing in action. But then there wouldn't be any fowl ups to get out of in half an hour.
Too funny love this episode 😂😂😂love this show
ALL OF THESE VARIOUS OLDER CLASSIC TV EPISODES ARE REALLY GREAT TO SEE ONCE AGAIN SO MANY YEARS AFTER THE DAYS OF OUR YOUTH WITH MANY NOW VERY WELL KNOWN ACTORS BEFORE THEY REACHED THEIR ULTIMATE FAME -
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR FINDING AND POSTING THEM HERE.
Cl
I’ve always wondered how the captain got the shoulder harness on while being handcuffed?
That ghost was SCARY!
For me, this was the funniest episode of all, the interaction between Flynn and Conway with the handcuffs is worthy of Abbot and Costello! Watch how deftly Conway pulls the blinds down just as he goes through the window. LOL. I'd love to know how long and what it was like for the two of them to rehearse all the gags from the handcuffs, that would be funny all in itself!
Carpenter should have been court martialed for that lousy trigger and muzzle discipline alone! He is one tiny mistake away from wasting people on several occasions!
Does anyone notice that the Captains glasses only has a lens in the frame part of the time----about 80% of the time, the frames are empty--no glass at all. You cam tell beause there is no reflection.
Actually Joe Flynn (Binghamton) wore the same glasses.
@@ballzcorps5146 no he wore the same frame but in most scenes the glass lens are missing..there is no reflection.
@@chadhaire1711 Well, he might've been wearing frames with no lenses usually but wore real ones whenever he was spraied in the face.
Love this show
This episode was hysterical, but the most unbelievable part of McHale's Navy was not their wild antics; it was the fact everyone on the show was almost always overdressed for the war in the South Pacific. Shorts and sometimes T-shirts were the standard wardrobe of PT crews operating in this kind of environment. Men ashore weren't much better clothed. Perhaps a more accurate depiction would have offended TV audiences. I'm sure it would have upset the US Navy's top brass (well, the Binghamton types anyway). In a case of life imitating art, the Navy did refuse to assist the producers of the show in any material way, yet McHale's Navy was later credited with increasing Navy recruitment and Ernest Borgnine was thanked by the Chief of Naval Operations for this effect.
its almost like the part was made just for Joe Flynn.
@pete smyth did not remember that there is a clip of Joe Flynn appearing on Johnny Carson tonight show and he is wearing glasses the clip was about four or five years after McHale's Navy.
They called those “birth-control glasses” in the service.
@@robhofer2390 that’s hilarious Hahaha 🤣
If I ever get out of this you'll see a doctor.
Jeff Tyler “...”
Hilarious🤓❤❗🇺🇸
Now wait a minute. You wouldn't hit a guy with glasses, would you? 😖😕
One mistake when he cuffed Parker he had no coat on the next day he's in full uniform but it was still funny.
Guys search up the Tim Conway Show 1970 it shows Tim Conway and Joe Flynn teamed up as pilots like the same thing that happened on the Japanese plane
It’s a “rack”, not a “bunk”!
They we’re flying
I'll handle this!!!
Great movie
They never made another navy comedy after this!
This one is REALLY Silly when Viewed -- Sped-Up 2x!!
McHale's Navy is always funny, Hollywood do not make comedy like McHale's anymore. what Hollywood makes now is nothing but rubbish and shit comedy.
I wish I could find the Movie, "Seven Against The Sea" (1962) that gave inspiration for the series.

In the news.
Joe Flynn has rised from the dead !
And in celebration of him returning back to life, hes walked all the way from his grave in Culver City onwards to Universal Studios in Universal City to find the old Mchales Navy set.
And when he saw that it was removed Mr Flynn said I can just scream !
And also with him was Tim Conway who walked all the way from his place in Westwood.
Thanks for the shoe
Ha.

Why are the Japanese flying an American cargo plane?
