really like how you made the hangers. your fab work is inspiring.
Thanks man! I'm sure there's a better way but I tend to do things the simpler way without overbuying on tools/machinery. There's definitely some things I'd do different if I was a production shop.
My two favorite 3V builds in the same comment section?!?! This is awesome.
Exhaust sounds amazing. Loved those driving clips too, I’m sure it sure so much better in person tho. Great video
Thanks I'm happy with it 🤘
Nice job man! Sounds great! Looking forward to the next build!
Thanks 🤘🤘
Love the new sound, especially the backfires!
Thanks 🙌🙌
Amazing work. Your build are always so meticulous and thorough. Great job and can’t wait to see what is next!!
Thanks a lot man!
Sounds unbelievable now. Alot like an L494 5.0 SVR but possibly even beefier. Love it
Great build and great sound, amazing work.
Thanks a lot!
Jesus that sounds amazing. Good work!
Thanks I'm happy with it 🤘🤘
Wow that’s a proper exhaust sound great job
Thanks a lot 🙌
awesome work, it sounds really nice
Thanks a lot!
Wow that sounds so good! A very attractive sound. Thank you for the video! May God bless you and your family. 😁❤
Thanks a lot, same to you!
Agree ,sounds incredible 👌
Thanks a lot 🤘
You're good engineer, keep up on doing quality work.
Thanks a lot!
You’re so damn talented man. Beautiful job as always 😉
Thanks a lot🙏
Sounds great!
🤘🤘
This sounds amazing
🙌🙌
Sounds mean af! Nicely done.
Thank you🤘🤘
This video is looking good
Sounds like a Black Series☺️
Great Build! Can’t wait what else you’re gonna do with it
Thanks a lot 🤘
This sounds close to a jeep trackhawk with driving clips on the inside, I LOVE IT 😈
🤘🤘
It sounds like a slower reving srt8
the sound is just gold jesus christ, and it's only the starts jesus ...
Sounds so much better than stock! And gotta love the salty Lancaster County winters don't you? In Quarryville they love to dump a ton of salt!
Thanks I agree! Ugh yeah I'm ready for spring
Nice, I did a cat back Super Sprint exhaust on my LR3 V8 dosen't sound like your's but when I get on it on highway speeds it has a nice sound. Plus I added a K&N drop in filter adds to the sound.
🤘🤘
Custom intake next? Hear her whine!? Awesome job as always. Love a Kordare vid.
Yeah I've been thinking about that.... Thanks!
Picking up my 2013 Land Rover sport in 3 month I am doing the same set up that exhaust it sick
Do it🤘🤘
Fantastic
Damn. Thats pretty fast
It ain't slow
The aj-v8 is a stout engine. It's basically a more refined ford modular. They are known to outlast their chassis.
I wish my 2015 sounded like this
Badass dude
Thanks 🤘
Amazing 🙂👍
🙌🙌
Exhaust sounds so good, I had one of these 2010 model I face lifted the rear to look close to a 2013 model (uk)
Thanks a lot!
I currently have a tdv6 and I'm also in the UK ? Would fixing a cutout exhaust on it make it fail MOT ? And would it sound the same ? Cheers bro
@@husseinelzein1063 it would fail on emissions test for MOT there’s a few exhausts that are mot applicable but they don’t improve the sound much for the tdv6
@@billydavis4236 oh wow damnn it man, was hoping to get a cutout with a remote control valve so I can have it loud or quiet when needed... a couple garages said it's ok to install so I have no clue 🙃
@@husseinelzein1063 if the garages that said it’s okay do mot then can get them to do it and mot the car too
Great video, Thank you! How did your exhaust mod affect MPG's and performance?
Thanks! I haven't noticed any differences
Hell yeah!
🤘🤘
Ok so that looks awesome! Maybe a stupid question but why do you have that gas hose running into the pipes and the ends plugged? Honestly doing a video on the basics of tig welding would be pretty cool.
It’s for back purging, removed undesirable gasses and vapors from the backside of where you are welding. Makes it clean and contaminant free.
Travis is correct. That's to fill the inside with argon to protect the inside of the weld. Necessary on thin wall because you're burning all the way through the material.
Never would’ve thought a Range Rover could sound like that
Same here 😂😂
Have you never heard an SVR??
@@joshjack6127 tbh I don’t follow Land Rover or Range Rover that closely
Didn’t know you were from Pa too. The AJ8 sounds like a Mustang, I guess that’s the Ford influence. I’ve been looking at LR3s. I have a Disco 1 that’s the victim of Pa winters.
Holy shit with that h pipe it’s making a muscle car sound!!😍 I have same vehicle and I’m removing resonators tomorrow and installing x pipe (I like x pipe better) I’m leaving original muffler back there for now if I don’t like it much I’m installing 2 supper 10’s
Awesome good luck with yours!
How do you like it with x pipe? Thinking of adding that or a H like in this video.
Niceee!!
🙌🙌
I need my 2013 done the same way.
u make it look so easy man, how long did this take you to do? - never mind you answered my question in the video lol
Haha yeah it definitely looks a lot easier than it is...
BTW that "gas tank skid plate" IS structural, it's the only thing holding the tank in besides the fuel and EVAP hoses. I admit I didn't watch your entire video but I don't think you realize that. Also if you can find a decent aftermarket one or make one(your seem quite capable👍) you should make a video on it, I don't think the OE ones are available anywhere except junk yards. I've done a few fuel pump/filter R&Rs on these at work since they're prone to cracking and spraying fuel out on top of the tank. I'm about to buy one that needs head gaskets from a customer who doesn't want to repair it and I stumbled across your channel while researching exhaust mods 😁H-pipe sounds great, good work.
Thanks! Yeah what I meant was not structural to the frame of the vehicle. I will be trying to replace that soon, maybe I will make one 🤔
I like to see how the response from your flappy paddles is the same delay in my ford edge 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
Oh man reminded my w204 c63 6.2l…
Awesome work. I'm from Brazil and had a 2010 and looking for buy one again. Can you tell how loud is at low and mid rev? Great job!!!
Thanks! It can be a bit loud but I don't mind it
In Germany we call it Streetsign-exhaust
👍👍
Bro this is a masterpiece !! Those pops and bangs!!
Thank you 🤘🤘
@@Kordare maybe a dumb question but what engine do you have in that one ? And is it possible to achieve this type of sound on the 2.7 tdv6 engine ? Grtz
Where did you have to ground your welder and did you have to mask off the gas tank or any other areas when welding?
I have a wire welder, I want to do some vehicle exhaust work, have an 08 RR sport, probably will take it somewhere
I grounded to the exhaust and no I didn't mask off any areas because tig welding doesn't spatter like mig and also I was only tacking while on the car, not doing full welds. It's possible to mig an exhaust, I used to do it, but you have to go pretty slow to not burn through.
Awesome work and great sound man… do you get any drone with this setup?
Thanks! No drone once I added the h-pipe 🤘
Wow! No drones even on cruising speed? That’s just awesome man.
@@inronism 🙌🙌
I have replaced the big resonator(box2) with an X-pipe, and was planning on removing the first resonator(box1) next while retaining both the rear smaller mufflers. Do you think it will get a similar exhaust note to yours? Was just hoping to amplify a deep V8 RR note during city/town driving..
@@inronism yeah that should sound similar but definitely a little quieter
I need a exhaust like this on my 15 tahoe
Do it!
Nice job man… any power loss that you noticed?
Nope not at all, thanks!
I would definitely put 2 vibrant resonators unless you are going for the ear drum busting sound lol
It's honestly not bad at all under normal driving conditions. I was basically WOT in most of this video 😂😂
*SOUNDS A LOT BETTER THAN MY HONDA CIVIC*
which model is it?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can get more info please for a 2020 5.0 Range Rover
Sorry I only made one of these and don't plan to make any more.
h pipe makes a heck of a difference
Agreed🤘
How much to build one for mine. Same as your but with two resonators after the H pipe. Serious buyer 🤟
Sorry I no longer do customer work
I would throw some bottle resonators in it and then it’s perfect!
You should sale these! I want one bad for my 16
I used to build and sell exhaust but I've gotten too busy with my own projects...
Hows the droning between 40-60mph
Not bad at all
sounds way better than it has any right to
I agree 😅
Pumped you didn’t go the typical X-pipe route. I prefer the sound of an H-pipe 👍
🙌🙌
Not A grocery getter no more lol
😂😂
I see a PA plate! Where you from I also live in PA and own a Range Rover!!
South Central 🤘
you are amazing , such great talent the Lord has blessed you with , thank you Jesus
Thanks a lot 🙌🙌
Great work. I'm still rocking flux core for my exhaust mods 🤣 ...and was thinking the whole time "needs an X-pipe!!" Lol was glad to see the addition of the "H"... not that it matters much, but I've seen videos doing dyno test that show X-pipe produces more power gains than just an H... but more so, I wonder how it would change the sound 🤔🤔🤔
Haha flux core you crazyyyy. I'd suggest at least getting a small argon bottle so you can run solid wire, if your machine allows it. Will give a much cleaner weld. And yeah I saw the same thing but for this it wasn't worth attempting to add an X.
Makes me wish I didn’t have the 2.7 TDV6 but I’ve already spent way too much money on it 😭
I'm sorry 😢
Wow, the drone. Why not do a cut-out to your custom shit?
This doesn't drone bad at all. Definitely did before I added the h-pipe
You look like Dean Winchester from supernatural
Interesting 🤔
For all their reliability issues these engines sound so good. Almost makes me want to do a swap just for the sound alone.
Seems like most of the reliability issues are suspension related, engine definitely feels strong 🤘
One of the best engines JLR ever built
You're another one of the people who talk about Rover "reliability issues" when in fact you have no clue what you're talking about. Try this. Go buy one and own it yourself instead of regurgitating the false garbage you hear from others like you who've never owned even one Rover. I've owned two previous to the one I currently own. I bought all three used with more than 60 thousand miles. I've never bought a warranty. None of them ever spent a day on a tow truck and never spent a single day in service beyond regular scheduled maintenance. Get some education. They are very reliable.
What is the difference between H pipe & X pipe?
H pipe looks like an H where they come together like I built. X-pipe they come together and go apart at a 45 degree angle
@@Kordare I understand that it's obvious by design. My question is more related to functionality. Why is one better than the other? I'm sure they don't serve the same purpose...
Mine sounds the same and all i did was get rid of the mufflers left the resonator and still cracks and bangs maybe even louder than this one
That is actually impossible
@@Kordare You are probably right maybe if I were to take a video it would sound less loud. I will take a video though and upload it just so you can hear it,
Yours is louder but here is mine just in case you wanna hear it 👍🏻czcams.com/video/G-ShdCmNkOM/video.html
4.2 sc?
5.0 SC
How much was the overall cost?
Of the exhaust? Probably around 500 in materials
X pipe next time!
Suspending a range rover with airride suspension, like that wouldn't it damage the suspension?
Nope. Usually just have to reset height to normal when you put it back down
Oooh bet cool,😊
take my money, u build it and ill pick it up
Sorry there's a reason I don't sell exhaust anymore... I'd have to charge way too much for all this work 😂
you should get some new rims man. That curb rash is bad. Or do a vid on repainting them or plasti dipping. Literally Anything to FIX IT LMAO!!
Haha check my IG to see how they look now. Removed all plastidip, looks way better.
Wire wheel guard kills me, and the fat grinding disc, why not use a zippy wheel?
I'm not sure if I used a grinding disc at all in this video.... I definitely use a cutoff wheel whenever I am cutting tube.
@@Kordare My bad it looked like a thick wheel 👌
Sounds nice on accelerating but the constant popping and backfiring noise is just horrible. I would hate it within 1 minute of driving it.
It really only does it if you purposely down shift, under normal driving conditions it rarely happens
What's your day job?
I'm a mechanical engineer at a product development company
@@Kordare that's right I remember now. Love your stuff man.
The man is an immense engineer
Not too loud … wrooooooooom 😅
The torque must decrease. I think
My straight piped range rover svr was louder I believe
مزعج
Sounds just like a Ford f 150
