Today, I received my extension from SDS Imports in Tenn. Using your easy to follow instructions, I quickly installed the extension onto my SDS Tokarev 12 gauge. Thank you so much for your short, clear tutorial.
All tightened down it's exactly the same length. The front portion of his extension is probably a little loose. The bayonet kit will add a little to that though if you get it as well.
Great video. I just ordered the extension, and without your video I may not have been able to figure out how to install it. There's a lot of space between your magazine tube and your barrel at the end of the video, whereas at the start that spacing is almost not there. Did your barrel go in all the way? It looks like getting the barrel back in is a major pain in the butt.
I had the same issue with my TX3 Marine. You will need a pair of thin needle-nose pliers, and possibly a set of vice grips. When looking down the magazine tube of the Marine model, you will see a black metal magazine spring retainer/plug with two small holes at 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock. Insert one prong of the needle-nose pliers into each hole. Squeeze the two holes towards each other (i.e. 12 o'clock). This will relieve the tension, which will allow you to pull out the retainer. Be advised that the retainer is under spring tension, so go slowly and be prepared to block the retainer with your thumb to prevent the spring and retainer from flying across the room. The only thin pliers I had were very small. I was able to push the ends of the retainer together, but it was hard for me to pull the retainer/plug out of the tube. After pulling the retainer/plug approximately 1/4 inch out of the tube, I gently used a pair of vice grips to grab the exposed portion of the retainer/plug (make sure the vice grips are not making contact with the magazine tube). A gentle pull and turn was sufficient to completely remove the retainer from there. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much.. all these other videos feature shotguns with no tabs. Very helpful!!
These are good looking shotguns
That's one sexy shotgun.
you should see the Nickel Finish one
That extension is the exact same one from the armelegant ar-t02 that SDS used to import.
SDS hould have just sold the gun with the extension and charged the difference. It's a fighting shotgun so who doesn't want the extension? 🙄
tru
Too bad it’s not the exact same length as a barrel. Just comes out a little cleaner in my opinion.

Thanks Don! Do more of these

Thanks! Your instructions helped me remove my retainer from my TX3 marine.
I was considering buying this shotgun 🤔 how has it worked out for you
Is this the same Don numbers that used to work for James yeager?
My tx3 marine doesn’t have the pin on the barrel to take out the spring , do you know another way to take it out without breaking it ?

So how many more rounds does the extension allow to be loaded into the tube?
I just got mine and added the extention which gave me 7 plus 1. Is this right?
What shell length? 2 3/4 would only give you 6+1. You are probably using short shells
Where did you order that extension from?
sdsimports.com
Sds was sold out when i looked. Aim had them as well as classic
Just bought 1 from Shooters Surplus. they only had 2 more left in Nickel Finish
Seems like adding an extension would weaken the spring pressure, any problems with the last round feeding yet?
