Literally my childhood right here. I spent years playing this game. This was also the first game I ever played on the N64.
This was probably the first game i have ever played in my life
Me and my brother would go to our dad's to visit and spend the whole time there playing this against each other when we around 7 to 10 yrs old

I cant believe this the only N64 track that hasnt been remade yet.
It’s gonna be such a visual overhaul when it does get remade in the next game, and you know it will because it’s the only one that hasn’t been remade yet. I wonder if they’re going to shorten the lap time to 2 laps instead of 3 in the next game, like how Wario Colosseum was so long it had two laps instead of three. That’s another one I hope they bring back in the next game as well.
I agree. STRONGLY
I feel like they will shorten the lap count instead of giving it only one lap. Those two courses I just mentioned would be way too small for just one lap, that’s why I went with that thought. Both also take a similar amount of time to complete a lap on as well.
@@mushypasta7425 yeah I agree. With long tracks like N64 Rainbow Road, it makes sense why in Mario Kart 8, it’s only 1 lap because it’s longer than this track and Wario Colosseum in Double Dash

This is literally the only level in this game that hasn't been brought back as a retro track. So, if Mario Kart 9 comes out, expect there to be only one N64 level unless Nintendo pulls a SNES Rainbow Road and milks the most popular levels in this game for what they're worth.

Maybe if they hadn’t reused an N64 track for every retro cup in the base game of MK8 we would’ve probably have more
The Yoshi course (GC) and Baby Park were also reused before. But all 3 are DLC, so maybe they don't count. But I think sooner or later they will use tracks that they reused before.
Not being a retro track is the reason why it is a underrated mario kart 64 track

I remember that the official Nintendo Power guide had a list of times for each track that they challenged players to beat. The time for Wario Stadium was ridiculously short and was only possible by using the "jump over the wall" glitch that I could never pull off. Seemed kind of unfair for them to base their challenge time off that.

Unfortunately, according to the prefix leak, which continues to be proven true with more datamines each wave, it looks like this course won't be coming back in the DLC.
Maybe next game.

Certain elements of this game I wish made it in to future mario karts. The train of bananas, my favorite move was to side swipe drivers with them as demonstrated in 0:39. The ability to get items while having shells orbit around you, also, holding the green shell behind you, some mario karts allow it but some don't. Holding the green shell behind you and still able to get another item. Larger courses, I loved the larger courses, I think double dashes failure was shorter courses that would also not allow you to find cheats. And lastly, the music in this is unmatched. No other mario kart had music as good as this game.
If this track returns, I don’t expect it to have the same remix as Royal Raceway because it has a different style. Also, because of how long it is, I think it should have 2 laps instead of 3, just like how they did with Wario Coliseum on Double Dash.
Then again, we all saw Waluigi Pinball with the same remix as Wario Stadium (DS version), so that’s most likely to happen to this one.
They did the same with the music for DS Waluigi Pinball, reusing the same music from their DS Wario Stadium. And since Mario Kart DS, the longer tracks, sadly, they divide them on 3 sections.

I always liked to use a shell, banana, or item box on one of the racers right before that jump. If you do this more than likely they will fall off the cliff and will be way behind.

Hey everyone, hopeful news. They just announced a Booster Course DLC pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, bringing 6 waves of 8 courses. That is a total of _48 courses!_ So there's still a chance that this course will return.

If this course return to Mario Kart Tour and/or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe it will be section-based course due to how freaking long this course is plus the big jump will be a gliding area.

i was massively upset when i found out that the wario stadium remake of
MK8DX wasnt the N64 version but the NDS (which i never played)
cause it was my fav stage back then when i played as wario
The Wario Stadium remake in 8/8DX is from Mario Kart DS, not 3DS (Mario Kart 7).

Wario Stadium appears large enough to be NFL sized. If the Mario franchise expands into football, this would be an ideal venue.

This track could work in the MK8 DLC but this must be 1 tour with 3 sections like in the Mount Wario snow level and i hope there isn't 3 laps because this level is very long
if they remake this track and wario colleseum, i hope they just make them 2 laps - 3 sections will ruin these tracks

Best thing to do on this level is to get someone right before the big jump and watch them fall in last place when they try to keep going and go backwards on the track.

Even as a kid playin this for the first time and many other 64 games, I hated how they would just slap a bunch of flat colors in the backgrounds for the audience, I hated that and always thought it was cheap. My brain was way ahead of it's time

Don't hate me, but this is my 2nd least favourite track in the game. It's just WAY TOO LONG. I know Rainbow Road is longer, but it has interesting music and visuals but this has nothing... It's too boring and WAY TOO LONG. It's only better than Sherbet Land
